This would be the best way possible to fill the big-name rap slot on the lineup. Big Boi probably wouldn't be a headliner (I don't think), but Outkast definitely would. Make it happen, AC!

per Wikipedia "On April 14, 2010, Big Boi said OutKast had something "brewing" and that it was "top secret". The new OutKast album will be released in the summer after Big Boi releases his solo album. The title of this album is to be announced."
seems like that would be perfectly-timed for an appearance at Bonnaroo to mark their comeback! Somebody get on this!

there will be an album coming out, however i still think a tour is highly unlikely. i havent heard anything about andre backing off his stance of not wanting to tour anymore.

I would just like to point out that you used wikipedia as a source. That is all.

well is he against "touring" or live performances in general?
I think Wikipedia is fine to use, as long as it is cited. Outkast would be great. While Idlewild wasn't that big of a success, there were a few good tracks. I think they would kill a late night. I hope they are the highest billed Rap/Hip Hop/R&B artist, and that there are a few more for 'Roo 11.
i doubt a new 'kast album will drop before 'roo next year with their history (idlewild was supposed to come out in 04 instead of 06; sir luscious left foot in 08 instead of 10). i think 3stacks is still working on a solo album and he hasn't done any performing (besides a late night show/award show) in over 8 years. i, as much as anybody, would love to see them headline but big boi solo is all i'd ever expect as late night tent act or pre-headliner. sucks, too, he just dropped the best hip hop album in a couple years.
karosko... i only disagree with your analysis because of New Amerykah 2, How I Got Over, and Reveloutions Per Minute... but yes.. "General Patton" would melt some faces off

SO many classics in there. this would be such an amazing late night set. needs to happen.
