This is quite the long shot, since they aren't even touring, but if they do start touring, DO WANT for Bonnaroo 2011. I could go on and on about the Kinks, they're one of my top 5 favorite bands ever. To me, they were the Beach Boys of power-pop--perfect melodies, perfect harmonies, but with a grit that would define future generations of pop music.
What do you guys think? I really don't think they would take a headlining spot if they played, but they would be a hell of a pre-headliner...Like I said, it's a really long shot (although there have been reunion rumors for years), but if it's possible, I'd love to see it happen.
I would love to see The Kinks again. They are one of the truly great bands of all time and one of my favorite concerts ever, and I've seen a lot. I'm not sure if Dave Davies health is good enough for them to tour.

Ray has that duet album coming out, and i could see a solo set having a lot of guests come out with him, especially with the right names elsewhere ont he lineup

Hearing someone cover Strangers this past Bonnaroo was one of my favorite moments. And I wasn't even in Centeroo at the time, I had just left but then decided to post up on the wall until the song was over.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
