Nashvillians, looks like Live on the Green concerts are coming back this year. Dates: Sept. 9- Oct. 14
They claim to have "bigger" headliners this year, and they are releasing clues via facebook and twitter. The hints so far followed by likely guesses t hat I took from facebook (I will update as more clues become available):
1. Here is a "Riddle," if "Superman" is over "100 years" old, could he play LOTG? GUESS: Five for Fighting
2. Hint: "The Truth" is "The Devil You Know" would absolutely love to see this band "On Fire." GUESS: JJ Grey & Mofro
3. Hint: It would be a Shame, Shame if you missed Live on the Green on September 16th. GUESS: Dr. Dog (OH HELL YES)

I'm going to try to make most of them except this week's. Really wanna make Dr. Dog, BoH, and the Wailers. I wonder who's playing the Next Big Nashville night... I'm guessing some of either: Space Capone, Heypenny, HIBTB, The Features...

I am looking forward to this tonight I have never seen Dr Dog. If anyone else is going who does not have mey number PM me and I will get it to you and we can meet up.
Not sure if Sarah and/or I will make it tonight. I have some crap around the house I have been putting off way too long and Sarah has been under the weather and has to stay a little late at work. I have yalls numbers though if we do make it out.
Not sure if I will make it either. My mom is having surgery in the morning, so I have to be there super early in the morning. And then stay with her over the weekend

Dr. Dog disappointed (me)... each song sounded like it was influenced by a different band that I like, but they had no sound to call their own imo.
Anyone coming out to The Wailers should try to catch Moon Taxi too.... I'm going to leave Yazoo a bit early to try and catch all of their show. I'm not too familiar with their material, but I've was given a strong recommendation to check them out.
