In case anyone is in the northeast, there is a small festival going on next weekend (9/11/10-9/12/10) near Boston. The proceeds go to helping kids overcome poverty and violence.
It's about an hour away from me, but I don't feel terribly strongly about the lineup. 20% chance I might do Saturday, at most. Plus I'm going to see Rush at the Garden on Tuesday, so might just save my cash and get a shirt or something at the show then.
I'm seriously debating it, given that it's relatively inexpensive and just a 5-10 minute drive from my college. If I do go (which is pretty likely) it'll probably just be a day pass for the Saturday. Eli Paperboy Reed > Mavis Staples > (half of) They Might Be Giants > Ozomatli > Dr. Dog > Ziggy Marley > Grace Potter and the Nocturnals > Ben Harper and Relentless7 seems like a much better deal for $50 than the Sunday lineup.
