Don't know. He just showed up like a stray dog. We are not sure we are going to keep him. Depends on how much he eats and if we have to walk him.
Hey now, thats not a proper introduction.
My name is John, I live near Memphis, i'm 26 years old, and ive been to Bonnaroo twice. My first concert was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles LIVE in concert @ the Mud Island amphitheater when I was 4 years old. My first real concert was The Rolling Stones, Voodoo Lounge Tour, Liberty Bowl Stadium, Sept 27, 1996. The best concert I have ever been to was Pearl Jam @ roo 08. I was once a lurker, but now i has a voice. I hate the white stripes, phish, the dead, and pretty much anything that get played more than twice a day on the radio.
I constantly attempt to find humor in everything. The coment about you losing 100 awesome points was a joke. </introduction> </threadjack>
Now, to get back on topic. I have been to more than one concert that was most likely worse than a Lady Gaga show, and I'm sure there will be another one or two down the road. That said, I am truly jealous of the amount of / quality of Musical Act's Nashville / Knoxville gets. It seems like there is always something going on up there I would love to see.

Then get you butt over here for Bob Dylan, or The Avett Brothers. Anything at the Ryman is usually good.
You can't understand how difficult it was for me to be "mature" with my money, and not buy tickets to see the avett brothers both nights. When I realized I didn't have the budget for it, it was like the morning my mom told me Santa Claus wasn't real. They are probably my 3rd favorite band at the moment. I saw them last year at minglewood, and this year at the roo.
I am excited about getting to see Iron and Wine and needtobreathe in november. Until then though, it is going to be pretty boring. Hopefully I can duck out of the carrie underwood concert, and hopefully the Styx wont be too bad.
Back on topic, the bridgestone is a pretty good concert venue for an arena. I was there a couple weeks ago, and while I didn't really enjoy the concert (i was in chaperone mode), I was fairly impressed with the overall sound. But that might just because I have low expectations, from all the concerts I suffered through at the Tomb of Gloom.
^The pyramid, and yes it is worse than bridgestone.
By the way dude I was at that stones show myself, will you confirm how awful Blind Melon was live. They are semi revered these days and no one believes me.
Wolfman Jess is correct, and the shape of the building was absolutely terrible for accoustics. And yes, Blind Melon was horrible live, mostly thanks to Shannon Hoon's love for vitamin C.
the STYX Where you seeing them? I have tickets to their show in November at the Ryman. The Grand Illusion and Pieces of Eight in their entirety will be outstanding, but they did rock it out at Bridgestone last year.
Styx is gonna be at the orpheum in memphis. I bought the tickets as a birthday gift for my father. I figured it would one of the following. 1) Oh My God that was fukken awesome. 2) Oh My God I would have gotten more enjoyment out of that 120 dollars if I had blown in on a hooker with genital herpes.
