Haha...still can't complain too much about the setlist we got...Plus, I'm seeing him tomorrow ;D
I read something once that said he only plays songs live that the band can absolutely perfect. If they can't play it EXACTLY the way he thinks it's supposed to sound, they don't play it live. Maybe they had to perfect "Dance" and "Hit" before Murphy would play them live. Do you know if they played them live before their Bonnaroo set?
Plus, at least we got "Us v Them." I actually LOVE that song (even if it is a little repetitive). And "Pow Pow."

Oh yea they need to bring Us Vs Them back into the setlist, things a monster. But those two new songs (Is "Home" new too?) are great additions.
I was going to catch them at my friends school, but they're being dicks about letting non-students get tickets. It's 4 hours away so I don't want to go all the way out there only to miss out on tickets.
DAMN. seeing them tonight, so psyched to get dance yrself clean, home (favorite song on this is happening) AND get innocuous. Hope we get us v them tonight too, though .
Also, does Murphy hate north american scum? This will be my 4th time seeing them and I've never heard it... I understand that it's arguably their biggest "hit" and it can get tiring playing it constantly, but it's a good song and I'd love to see it live.

The show last night was amazing. The setlist was more or less the same as Thursday, but they moved a few songs around ( pretty sure yr citys a sucker was earlier in the set, where as tribulations was later, etc.) but the additions blew me away. They get better and better every time I see them.

We're running towards the end of tour 2010, and then we have a holday break like everyone else, and come back swinging differently, with different songs live, and some other crap. hoping 2011 will be super weird, and a good indicator of the future of this lcd thing, which, contrary to my "oh we're totally done" is looking more like "oh, we're no longer doing the stuff we're not interested in". i mean, i'm saying we're done as a professional rock concern, but that might just mean we're getting started as a much different amateur project, which makes me, quite frankly, feel like a kid again. take that, world. LCD Soundsystem are: James Murphy, Pat Mahoney, Phill Mossman, Tyler Pope & Nancy Whang + Matt Thornley, Al Doyle, David Ascot Stone, Gavin Russom, J.D. Mark & Phil Skarich

Thats great because I was thinking today how bummed I was that Friday was the last time I'd see them.
^Cool, I will probably miss fall tour, but maybe they will hit Nashvegas next year. I am still thinking about going to ATL next monday, but I would have to drive home after.

wow, great show, both lcd SS and Sleigh bells were amazing. Best show of the fall so far for sure. Gonna be hard to top, I think only the F'lips or waters have a chance.
On another note, 2nd time I've been personally criticized by james murphy. First time was for glowsticks at bonnaroo. This time for taping the show on my phone. The nerve of that guy
