Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Unfortunately the event they played at was way disorganized and I didn't get through the line until they were playing their last song. I was bummed because it seemed like they kicked ass from what I heard outside, but then LCD came along and made it allll better.
Does anyone else think godspeed could do a late night Which? I think it's reasonable, and it would blow my quacking mind.
I really don't think that Godspeed would play a festival like Bonnaroo, it's far too commercial for them. That's not a knock at Bonnaroo, but if you know anything about Godspeed they're just not into anything commercial at all.
That's true, but seeing as how ticketmaster, one of the grossest corporations in the history of the world, is distributing tickets for their US concerts, it seems their willing to make exceptions in order to put some awesome shows on for their fans. It probably won't happen, but I like to dream big.

Still though, if Godspeed really wanted to, they could have played all non ticketmaster venues. Pearl Jam did it with huge spaces in the early 90's, I'm sure Godspeed could have found some places to play.
I dunno man... Their reunion tour is a pretty big deal. Tickets for my show sold out in 15 minutes.
Edit: also, even though they're playing all coy and mysterious, they actively decided to get back together and are obviously feeling the Godspeed stuff again, and I really could see a new album in the works, even if they won't admit it.

How big are the venues though? They are playing a pretty small place in Nashville, I am going with teine and some others. Like I said though if you look at the list it is pretty hard to argue that they have the kind of mass appeal that those others do. I mean do you think they are bigger than LCD Soundsystem (whose slot I think they would get) ?
I definitely think they're bigger than LCD. I could see Godspeed in a tent but I don't know... Maybe it's wishful thinking but I really could see Godspeed LN Which. No one is paying 100-200 dollars to get sold out LCD tickets.

I just think the great majority of people have never heard of them, the ones who like them are fanatics.

Maybe that's true. Regardless of stage, LN Godspeed set would be legendary.

You're waaaaaaaay off on this one. Just look at album sales/tour venues.

Yeah, I wasn't really thinking about the fact that the majority of my friends are Godspeed fanatics, and their "legendary" status in their own scene, but in terms of mainstream popularity LCD is definitely bigger. I think I just really really want Godspeed to play a LN which .
