Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'm trying so hard to convince my friends that we need to be at All Good this year, especially the ones who can't make it to Bonnaroo because of timing and costs. Bonnaroo is always fun but for me All Good has my dream line-up and I'd hate to miss it. The friends in question were at Rothbury in 2009 and had an amazing time... anyone who has been to both Roth and All Good, how do they compare? I'm gathering more points to support my pro-All Good argument aside from the awesome line-up and the proximity to Toronto.

honestly, i've been to several different fests now, and Roth and All Good have been my favorites. to me it had a lot of the same vibe people-wise, and temps couldn't be better(but i live in the south, so 88 is phenomenal for mid-july). i've just come to like to smaller crowds, and at AG you NEVER HAVE TO MISS A SHOW! it's really one of the best parts.
AllGood is fun, but certainly not a Bonnaroo substitute or anything. Small fests are a blast but musically they are very narrow with the exception of 'roo and to a certain extent Coachella.
Thanks hippieNaustin, that's what I was hoping to hear about the vibe. Just sent another email to the potential All Good crew to further entice them. After years of going crazy over Roo conflicts not having to miss a show would be amazing!
I will be at Bonnaroo this year, no substitute for that experience for me. It would be nice to do a smaller festival though, and I think this is the best one out of the bunch for this group, line-up wise.

This is my first year going to All Good; next to lolla it's the closest for me and a lot cheaper than roo (not that that ever stops me). Line up looks good so far, pumped for YMSB and JJ Grey. I can't wait to see who else will get added. Avett Bros are playing waka, maybe they'll pick this up too. www.allgoodfestival.com/

it's true, the smaller fests are most definitely more genre-specific. but i've found that i personally get drawn more towards lineups that are full of strong undercards than the ones with several different kinds of music. probably one of the reasons i enjoy the smaller fests, and it's also one of the reasons i'm more pleased with this year's Roo lineup than in the past.

Who are you guys most excited about seeing at All Good this year? I personally am really liking the line-up!! I find it hard to turn down an opportunity to see Umphrey's every chance I get lol

For me this line-up is soooo stacked. I'm excited about 2/3 of what it is so far. And I know with adds it'll get even better. Thank goodness for no overlapping sets. I don't dread seeing the schedule for this, except maybe seeing Yonder during the hottest part of the day where I'm likely to pass out from dancing so much
I hate comparing the two. They aren't even in the same league.
Bonnaroo is for the music. Other festivals are for the party.
Now not that I'm saying that I don't enjoy the bands at All Good, or Mountain Jam, or Bisco. But I've seen them all multiple times. I know it's going to be a good show. I don't need to give my undivided attention to them.
I know at the smaller festivals it's going to be a good time with awesome music. I'm going to relax at camp, make some new friends. Maybe even hang out with some old friends.
Bonnaroo is something I go to in order to see bands that I don't get the opportunity to see 8 times over the summer. It's something that I know will involve tons of walking and hot weather and music acts that I've never seen before.
This is why I'm kind of hoping my sister comes to All Good with me because I don't think my husband has seen me in my natural festival setting. Only at Bonnaroo. Where I usually end up putting him to bed before I go back out.
I will say that the summer festival line ups are proving to be very strong. I can't wait to get it started. I think this year we are going to leave most of our gear in the car because we're going to be camping almost every weekend.
I've got to get there on Thursday this year, I need to not be two miles up and down a mountain from y'all this time. That sucked
Oh man. I've been there too. I remember walking back after late night and I was seriously considering taking a nap on the side of the road.
Reading that brought back memories from one night at Blackwater Fest last August. I did more than think about it. When I got woken up, I just moved a few yards to a conveniently placed canopy that was pointed out to me, and slept a while later, til I was rested up enough to make the trip back to camp.
It looks like this is gonna be the biggest Camp Inforoo yet, esp. since there are several more people who I know will be there, who haven't posted in this thread yet. I'm gonna go in Wednesday night this year, at the latest tho. I'll camp in Volunteer Camping that night, but I'll haul some gear over to Camp Inforoo once everyone else get in. I'm gonna try to minimize my waiting in line time at Roo and AG this year.
