^Not really, it did make me want to go back to harvest next year. They announced it is going to be a annual thing. I actually plan to buy one of those upgraded sites, they seemed nice. I heard Waka got awful crowded, and it is a haul for me to get there.
If they do it the Rothbury weekend, it is too close to AllGood for me. I like SCI and all, but depending on lineups I bet I would rather go too AllGood. Incidents are fun I have been to some big ones, but they are going to have less music than a full blown festival. Hopefully zoe will get another 2-3 day incident at some point I can go catch.

Havnt heard of any Rothbury talk lately so I thought I'd bring it back up Were almost two weeks into 2011 and still nothing is confirmed or denied. Whether it's another Rothbury in 2011 or a Cheesbury, we need to know something!
Just go to infobury.com if you need more info on Rothbury. The status changes frequently, but Cheesebury has been confirmed for a few weeks now, well, sort of. Latest word is there will be both a Cheesebury and Rothbury.
Just to put this out there, Rothbury wasn't announced initially it's first year until early February. On top of that, last year's Rothbury was cancelled in '09, and I'll explain how.
I was supposed to work Roth '09 as I did '08. I got the dreaded phone call from my boss the week before saying I needed to find my own transportation. I was told that they had only sold 15k-20k tickets so far (a week before it started) with a capacity of 40k that was EASILY filled in '08, so our buses were cut from the budget. My boss said the AEG/MH guys were saying things like "Rothbury is finished, never again" and "I can't believe we went through with it this year after all the early warning signs."
Well, 20k-25k people showed up at the gates to buy tickets. They basically sold out the fest and were tremendously understaffed. My assumption is that the wheels were already in motion to shut down 2010 and after the surprising turnout, they scrambled to get a lineup together. I think it was too late, so they shot for 2011.
Keep on hoping, I think there's a very good chance it'll happen.

Dont wanna jinx it but I think Roth is back...why change a site that hasnt been touched in almost 2 years if your not gonna use it, I CANT WAIT FOR WEDNESDAY!!!!!!
Apparently we'll all know this Wednesday about Rothbury. Keep your fingers crossed everyone
What's the deal on Wednesday? I have been keeping track of Rothbury and it seems things are moving forward for a festival to happen this year. I was thinking it would be SCI's fest, but I would love to see Rothbury and Cheesebury. Roth's website has been changed numerous times over the week.
EDIT: From Twitter - "#Rothbury officials will meet with local officials on Wednesday 1/19 to decide the fate of this years festival... #Rothbury"

The Infobury boards are exploding today, for some reason. I can't really tell if it's just the itch or if there's reason to believe things are happening.
I have a feeling we hear something tomorrow. Today was the meeting with Rothbury and city officials. I bet we get something tomorrow, especially if the answer is no Rothbury.

We can only hope. I won't be banking on the announcement, but like sunshinemerchant said, I won't stop hoping that they'll be back until they tell me it won't.
