I want to get a new headset/microphone for my PS4. I have one that works but is annoying to connect (wires everywhere since it wasn't designed with PS4 in mind at the time) and everything I'm seeing on Amazon between $25 and $50 all seem to be variations of the same thing. Anyone have recommendations for decent brands? Not crap but not top of the line?

I have the Astro A10, little heavy, but large, soft, padded ear cups are comfortable and sound is very good.

Does that just plug into the PS4 controller? That's the problem with my current one I have to run three cables in various areas and it's still not that great

I use them for my PC, but they plug in with a 3.5 mm audio jack, so directly into the controller.

Cool. A little more than I want to spend but I'll keep them in my list. Can the headset adjust to be made bigger/smaller? I assume so but can't tell by photos and saw people complaining a bit about how it feels/how big it is

I have the Sony Playstation brand headset... I can’t remember how much it was, but it works great. It plugs into the remote and has excellent sound. I’ve been using it for 2-3 years. It’s the black and blue version (although that likely may not help since most headsets are now those colors). 😂
Update: it’s the Sony Gold Wireless Headset. It was $64.99 when I purchased it.

They are a little bulky, but I find them easy to adjust, and comfortable to wear for long sessions.
Just found a cheap switch, I'm pretty excited to start playing it. I'll probably start of with Overcooked, Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Mario Odyssey, then will probably purchase Mario Kart and Party some point down the line. I'll have to borrow Zelda from my brother too, but I don't have the time to commit to that right now lol.

My friend and I play rocket league a lot and we (at least on couch co-op) can't get past the lower levels. Like....we are aggresively average and win as much as we lose and the game sometimes makes me want to break it.
I started off really enjoying it, but I'm burning out already. There's parts of the "campaign" that just seem artificially difficult and lazy from the developers standpoint. Then the little bit of online I played seems pretty broken, buy maybe that will improve over time. I'll probably just go the short route to unlock everyone and then shelf the game to have around when friends want to play it.

The key to the lower leagues is properly rotating and getting better aerial shots.
This new super smash bros is really the first one I’ve played since 64, only played a little Melee. Love trying all the new characters, I can’t wait to play online too. I actually really enjoyed World of Light too, beat it on normal and am working my way through hard right now.

I need to practice more on Smash Brothers. Evidently, mastering Dark Souls game controls does not necessarily lead an individual to being able to beat a simple toad as yoshi. 😂

Bought Persona 5 today because Walmart had it for $20. Turn based RPGs like Suikoden, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy are the first games I really loved so im looking forward to trying something new in the genre.
Also, I'm probably finishing Red Dead on PS4 in the next couple weeks. If anyone wants to make a good offer on it, I'd rather sell it to someone I know than Amazon or Gamestop
So Playstation emailed me stating I had played Dark Souls 3 for 878 hours in 2018. Almost matching my hours for the same game in 2017. #addict #embarrassed
