War Memorial is a less than desirable venue.
1. Acoustics are horrible. 2. Bathrooms are hard to get to. 3. Seats in the balcony-knees under your chin. 4. Parking difficult. 5. Room has no vibe or energy.

I probably can not get out of town on Thursday, though I may try I would have to leave here at 2:00 then leave Asheville at 6 the next morning to make it work. I am already taking the next Friday off for the John Prine Old Crow show.
War Memorial is my least favorite venue in town, horrible sound, crappy beer selection, obnoxious security, and all the stuff Druid brought up. That being said it is the only place bigger than a bar and smaller than The Ryman in town so it gets a lot of jam shows.
I have an extra bed though if you want to catch the Nashville show.

Yeah that's kind of my situation too, with work. Taking off the weekend before for YMSB in Asheville, and then the following Friday for Prine/OCMS. I just wish that Keller was on more dates than just the Nasvhille one. Oh well, let me know if you decide to make it work. Sucks about that venue though, all of those things sound incredibly unpleasant.
Me and my friend will be takin the old bus up to Nashville for this. And I wish I could go to old crow medicine show since I live a few blocks from the venue, but I'll be in Mexico. Guess I can't complain too much. But I'm stoked for the show in Nashville.

other than that, no problem.
I don't mind it, but then again I have been on the rail for every show that I have seen there.
I live a few blocks from the tabernacle so I mite just walk down there and see if they are hording any tickets at the door. They did that for pretty lights, had about 50.
So I think the plan is me and my friend will drive from ATL to Nashville for this show, then the next day go from Nashville to Asheville for Bassnectar on Saturday. Little mini trip in February.
