So I was looking around this board and I found a forum that says there are security checkpoints if you aren't camping and are staying in a hotel. What are these checkpoints like? Is there more than one?
Well they are not as secure if they advertise, as far as I know it is just the same as every entry they are going to look your car over and check for contraband/stowaways.
Maybe they're talking about going through security to get into Centeroo? When you enter the festival site each day, you are subjected to a check that can range from them just waiving through everyone to checking your bags to flatout strip searching with body cavity entry. Or maybe they search your car each day. A guy from Murfreesboro that day parked never mentioned a car search, but I'll ask him

I've day parked a few times and they searched my car (and checked our wrist bands) each day when I arrived. None of the searches were that major but still we had to get out and they went through our stuff.
I did day parking this year and all they asked was did i have anything in the car, I said no, they checked our wristbands and sent us on the way. Guess we got lucky. There was absolutly nothing in my car except a speaker box, So it'd be a pretty boring search anyway.

my friends and I left a couple of times to go to my moms hotel room, and everytime we came back to day parking my mom said "remember me?!" and they just let us in.
