I hope Benny benassi is there. I'm not necessarily counting on it though. Benny or Boys Noize is all I need to be happy with the Electronic slots this year. Not sure If I'll get either one though.
Did you see them at North Coast last summer? I went to the Boys Noize late night show and saw Benny Benassi at the fest. Really enjoyed his set. I think we could see one of them at Roo.
I DID! They Both blew me away. Although Bennty was having some sound problems in the beginning, i think due to one of the earlier acts blowing out the speakers, they recovered quickly though. I was very impressed.

I saw Benny Benassi play a couple years back at the Temple in Atl and it was a fantastic show. Not much of a light show or any bells and whistles, just a great relationship with the crowd. He played for very long time, too.

Yeah, you could say the exact same thing for the set that I saw. His interaction with the crowd was great.

As far as electronica, I'm hoping for Flying Lotus, Rusko and/or Skream, Gold Panda. (obviously daft punk too).

Anyone know the odds of their appearances?
Someone asked FlyLo via twitter recently if he was playing Roo and his response was that he isn't. If true, it's very disappointing. He was one of the top shows I saw last year.

Comon...Thorogood has some awesome blues songs. I'm hoping for some type of classic blues act. I know Gregg Allman will be there, but I'd rather have a more full on blues artist. I would love for R.L. Burnside to show up again..but I don't think he'd be able to handle the heat anymore.

Call me crazy but I don't think RL will be there.
He passed away in 2005. :/
Zombie Burnside will melt your ears with his sweet licks right before he eats your brains.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
Just to think a little outside the box on the Rap HL front has anybody mentioned a LN What stage Young Money (Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj) set? I know Insider mentioned Lil Wayne not being there but maybe this scenario would change things.
Just the fansites and merch. Tickets are still run through Musictoday.
Trust me.
trust you what, I live up the street half of my friends work there I know how the quack it all works.
Hi. I live in East Tennessee. I may also work for a company often abbreviated by three letters -- two of which are initials.
That being said -- you either need to have intercourse with individuals who possess something more than topical knowledge on the subject of potential headliners for this year's show -- or you may wish to look deep within yourself to determine why positive attention is so important for you to have on a semi-anonymous media. Just a thought. I would like to point out that a great deal of your information thus far has been completely erroneous -- save the artists that have already confirmed publicly.
Regardless -- this is going to be an exceptional year for non-headlining acts. That isn't to say the headliners are sub par in the least. Just that you should expect the normal set of Modern-ClassicRock-HipHip-Jam headliners (all of whom are rather palatable to each specific genre) and a rather grin-inducing list of non-headlining acts. Moreso than the previous years. It will be a rather enjoyable lineup. Promise.
And there is my worthless $0.02. No leaks. No speculation. No information to corroborate my identity.
Give it four days, Veruca Salts of the board. Give it four days.

If true to your word, thanks for posting! Don't worry about luckyusername, nobody really pays attention to what he says. I'm thinking Eminem Jack Johnson Widespread Panic Arcade Fire.
Any good?
But I'm really liking what I'm seeing confirmed/rumored for the undercard. If one request, Herbie Hancock Headhunters .

Whoa, whoa. So we are going to get a Classic Rock act? I had pretty much ruled that out in my mind. Honestly, I don't know why I believe this guy so readily...I didn't trust sunshinebecker or any of the other asshats, but this just strikes me as legitimate...
