Last remaining headliner is Peter Frampton with John Oates.
Negative, its the Vedders. Wow I said that as a joke, but it would be pretty cool actually.
Also, checked out Interpol last night w/ School of Seven Bells. Both bands put on a great show!
I thought Paul Banks (vocals) was a little monotone, kinda like John McCrea from Cake, but not quite so purposefully melancholy; and yes I get that's their schtick. The light show wasn't over the top, well-synced though, and the sound guys @ the Pageant did a fair to good job. This band has spent a LOT of time on the road, and that experience shows up live, the band misses few to no licks and had no unscheduled breaks. This would make a great act for basically anytime of the day, probably in a tent, this year @ Bonnaroo.
School of Seven Bells was a nice surprise, someone at the venue said the lead singer used to have a twin who sang w/ her. The young lady singing was good on her own, but of course twins...c'mon. Front man seemed to have some talent, sad they only played a half-dozen songs.
Unfortunately, a kind and thoughtful broskie tossed a beer down my back at the beginning of Interpol's "2nd set" (more like 3 or 4 encores), and we returned to the hotel before I had a chance to get autographs/ask about Bonnaroo.
Interpol is great elevator music. Those guys really rock the Muzak vibe.
I didn't realize until now that School of Seven Bells had lost one of the twins. That's a real shame. I mean, I know the twin that's left can simply harmonize herself track by track. But I was looking forward to seeing both of them at Roo.

I didn't realize one of them had left either. That's bad news. I've been pretty much expecting them on the lineup this year, and now I'm a little less excited : /

Ridiculous.
They're not going to jump around and spit on people, but Muzak is a highly unfair characterization. Speaking of being unfair, here is a plenary example of a Muzak band:
"Holy shit! The line up for #Bonnaroo just went over the top tonight...beyond thrilled. Great line up and some once in a lifetime shows." - ashley capps.
Like we needed more hype. This tweet just came from Anthony Kiedis : Holy shit ! The lineup for #Bonnaroo just went over the top tonight... beyond thrilled. Great lineup and some once in a lifetime shows.
^^ I personally think they are awful.. but thats just me ^^
Can I ask why? I'm not trying to be a jarkface I'm just curious why they're not liked on this board.
I cant speak for the board but I just dont like them.. you know how you hear something it just dont like it.. i have no specific reason.. just not my cup of tea

I can appreciate that. It just seemed to me they were being placed on KOL level and I thought that was unfair.
