I have a feeling he also may be referencing special shows by big bands ala Lips last year. Maybe some bands playing albums staright through or some crazy shows/collabs.

If A/C gets Radiohead the southern U.S. may explode with joy...I would be leading the charge!! I was really hoping they brought back more headliner bands that had an amazing prior roo show. In no particular order... WSP(of course), PJ(amazing), Phish, Radiohead, Petty, NIN(not touring), MMJ(expected), Tool and I am sure there are others. Looks like they will get 2 of the lower tier headliners, but add one or 2 of the bigger names and that would def take it over the top.

Sorry to re-post this here after saying it in the quasi-confirmation thread, but there is a better discussion going on in here about the tweet. He sent that out at the end of his birthday. I don't know how that would affect it, but it could have something to do with it.

I didn't say Radiohead is once in a lifetime. I said them dropping their new album on the What. You can only release a new album once. Better yet how about they record their next album there.
Back to reality. . . how about a Robert Plant & Jack White jam? Both of those guys love getting down with other musicians and I'm sure Jack knows a few songs that Robert would know the lyrics too.
It's hard getting jokes through text. Oh yeah, NoD, I don't know how he saved the lineup. Whether he took a picture and wrote them down or he just screen saved it. Who knows man? Looks like I stumbled upon the lineup this year . I do take gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
My guess is that there is going to be a lot more collaboration than we have seen in the past. That certainly qualifies as "once in a lifetime" opportunities. Thinking about big time bands that would be once in a lifetime for me gets pretty ridiculous and even talking about them seems silly. I've given up on most of those dreams a long time ago, sometimes holding on to hope only serves to cause pain.
I agree that there will be a lot of collaborations. As far as those go, one could only imagine... mid-tier acts w/ other mid-tier acts? mid-tier w/ headliners, and vice versa? I think MMJ bringing someone in for their set is a given.

this analogy only really works if there's only a dozen used car sales events in the country per year, they each only have 100 or so random cars available and ashley works for the one company that has 150 cars instead.

its awesome. i wouldnt get your hopes up for outkast as it looks like the hip hop headliner is leaning towards Eminem and/or Dre, but that outfit on Andre3k is ridiculously awesome

Yeah, my schedule for next week came out. Tuesday I'm working ALL DAY LONG starting at 10:30. Not very pleased about that. And they said they weren't gonna release the lineup till Noon on Tuesday. Hope that's not true.
EDIT: I feel like I read that somewhere, about the lineup at noon, but can't seem to find it. Maybe, I was thinking about the tickets On Sale time.
