I agree, I hate his rapping style. He needs to calm down.
Am I going crazy? Since when is Dre's music any less violent, vulgar, homophobic or misogynistic than Eminems?
And thats what i love about it, strange.
havent heard all of recovery yet but am DLing now becauses thers only so many times i can listen to the Slim Shady LP, Marshall Mathers LP and Eminem Show in one day
I'll agree with you on the content, but he doesn't sound like he's slowly being bulldozed into the ground. I seriously think of this every time Em opens his mouth
Albums done, now they can tour, welcome back Radiohead headlining rumors!
insider did say that the lineup wasn't complete and that was the reason for not giving up the last headliner. perhaps radiohead was waiting to make sure album was ready to go before committing to broo? /end dream
Just heard Mumford & Sons for the first time ont he Grammy's last night. Hate to base my entire opinion of a group off of one performance, but my first impression is that the dude's voice sounds an awful lot like Dave Matthews (i.e. "shitty and annoying" i.e. "I won't be listening to them"). Someone please recommend a Mumford & Sons non-Dave Matthews vocal-sounding song, so that I do not forever associate them with such douchery as DMB.
"Little Lion Man". It might not be a very different voice, but it's a great song. If you can get past the voice, "Awake My Soul" and "After The Storm" are great too. Hell, I just love that whole album.

I am pretty sure that is what will happen, too bad they will be on the Which, while Zeppelin is playing the What.

Jess, for speculative purposes, you have posed avery interesting question: say Led Zeppelin (Plant, Page, Jones, Bonham JR) are playing which, and Radiohead are playing at the same time (I know this would never happen as headliners play unopposed), but which would you go to? As amazing as a Zep pseudo-reunion would be, I honestly think I'd opt for Radiohead. Am I in the minority here?

it's liking having to choose one child to save and one to let die. would be crazy hard, but would probably have to at least start at zep since it is likely i could see radiohead again.

It's an easy decision, Zepp. I will see Radiohead no less than 3 times on their potential upcoming tour. I would hate that I missed it. I wouldn't be able to live with myself missing my only opportunity to see Zepp. When they did their one off in 07, I was seriously trying to figure out how I could make it to London to go to it. I considered selling a kidney.

see now youre just trolling. Theres not even a discussion here, Eminem is a far superior lyricist to Dre in every possible way including delivery.

and the fact that Dr. Dre doesn't write most his own rhymes. He has ghostwriters.

I also think Recovery is pretty damn good while only on my second listen. i didnt like not afraid when it first came out but the other two singles i did, and then i heard Cold Wind Blows and it sounded like he was really back.
So I picked myself off the ground and fuckin' swam 'fore I drowned Hit my bottom so hard I bounced twice, suffice this time around It's different, them last two albums didn't count Encore I was on drugs, Relapse I was flushin' 'em out I've come to make it up to you now no more fuckin' around I got something to prove to fans 'cause I feel like I let 'em down So please except my apology I finally feel like I'm back to normal I feel like me again, let me formally Reintroduce myself to you for those of you who don't know no The new me's back to the old me and homie I don't show no Signs of slowin' up oh and I'm blowin' up all over my life is no longer a movie, but the show ain't over homos I'm back with a vengeance, homie, Weezy keep ya' head up T.I. keep ya' head up, Kanye keep ya' head up don't let up Just keep slayin' 'em, rest in peace to DJ AM 'Cause I know what it's like, I struggle with this shit every single day and um
This whole new Radiohead album thing has my head spinning. I'm illogically trying to convince myself that they're going to play Bonnaroo this year. I'm just excited that they're back and will probably tour regardless of whether they play Roo!

Yep, and on the Radiohead tour throughout the US, tickets will sell out less than an hour at every stop forcing them to play 4 more dates at each city just to say fuck you to the scalpers. Everybody wins except Radiohead.
I'm not going to let myself think about the possibility of Bonnaroo having Radiohead AND Arcade Fire AND Massive Attack AND Black Star. But when I do, it makes my genitals tingle a bit.

As someone who might have never gone to Bonnaroo if it weren't for their '06 set, I'd love to see them back. But lets have a reality check for a moment...they've not been mentioned at all from the leaks that we've heard recently, not to mention they don't start a tour so quickly after dropping a new album, and tomorrow the lineup drops.
I'd love to be wrong, but don't get too excited ppl.
