Isn't it possible that headliners who played Roo before are included in the group of headliners to choose from?
Yeah, but if there are so many to choose from, why would you choose bands that already played?
a.) because they're fuggin awesome (radiohead, phish, etc) b.) because it's the 10th anniversary (neil young, furthur/members of the dead) c.) because you have a working relationship with them already

Also, look at all the bands that are already semi confirmed... They're mostly vets (cold war kids, portugal the man, Gogol bordello, etc.). I definitely think, while they will bring in new acts and probably one new headliner, they're gonna be going for a best of Bonnaroo feel.

I really hope they get Phish, Tom Petty, Beastie Boys, Ben Harper,..
But if you look at the top 5 of the last 5 years you get this:

Also, when people say a headliner from the past, most people aren't thinking The Police, Metallica, Springsteen, or Kings of Leon. The few main acts that keep getting repeated in rumors/wishful thinking are Phish, Radiohead, Neil Young....which makes more sense.

Coachella's 10th anniversary:
They didn't have any special returning band. They just booked some amazing bands. I think Roo will get some awesome new bands and probably a few repeats like Widespread or Phish.

I though you was cool at first talking bout snithces get stiches but now i see you just a fake hater. Not really, my dad is into them so I've definitely heard more than just the big hits, but I've never gone THAT deep. Maybe I'll investigate one day, but for roo 10 they are just not my preference.

Have you every eating at either of the two seafood tents in bonnaroo? I have work for the owner at bonnaroo since 2005 along with hundreds of other festivals around the country. Ive been doing that type of work since i was 12 and i learned it like the back of my hand. Bonnaroo enspired me to try and start my own business just like him so I decided to goto collage to have a better chance of doing so. Next may im going to graduate with my BA in business management minoring in entrapenurship and i'm forming my business plan next semester. I hope i can get into the tour staring in Coachella and ending in All Good. I got the business down to a science. For example in 2009 I soley ran the Jax Beach Seafood tent by the main stage the first night i pulled in 7,000 the next night over 10,000 and the thrid 6,000. that 23,000 net profit and with the way I ran it majority was profit we had two other booths one in centeroo and another on the left side of what i think was which stage(it was the funnel cake, slushie, ice cream tent which products are nearly all profit). It motivated me to finish school and try to start my own but im going to do it better because i learned from all his mistakes plus im expand and do three different types of themes SeaFood, Norther New Mexican Cuisene, and the Sweetooth booth which as i mention is nearly all profit. When i finsih my business plan i'll post it so everyone can check it out. I was hopeing this site could network me in with the right people. And as i said i really like the community on here just trying to get my word out nah mean??

dcvicious - that sounds pretty cool being able to do that stuff. I suggest hitting enter every now and then to break up that one long paragraph into a few so it's easier to read. Also, spell-check is your friend (enspired, collage) .
