So one of my best friends, and a 'Roo vet from I believe '05 only, is doing battle with cancer. Please, everyone, send the best to one of my best friends ever, who has so much more to give to the world. Jenn is just one of the most amazing persons I have ever met. She has brought so much light to my own life, this Leno just isn't fair. Sorry if this becomes a rant, but I'm having a really hard time dealing with this information that I just received tonight. At this point I've had three other friends deal with cancer either personally or through a parent/loved one, and selfish as it might be on my part, this kind of stuff is weighing so heavily on me. Especially now in this most recent case. I am now dedicating myself to quitting cigarettes as of this post in an effort to support one of the best friends I have ever made. She is just amazing, and to have this fall on her (pretty much a second time) just hits me hard. So all of you on inforoo, I know you to have been some of the kindest, and greatest people on the internet that I have yet to meet. But please, please, please, keep my friend Jenn in any thoughts or prayers you may have. I would trade my life for hers in a minute given the chance.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

My family has dealt with multiple cancer battles over the last couple years, some won some lost. So I know how heavy this weighs on you. Prayers sent for you and Jenn. A strong will and a positive mind state is the best defense.
I've had a recent scare within my family. I've been sending good vides your way. I'm positive she is gonna beat it!!!! Like WolfmanJess said, Fvck cancer.
From one survivor to another, Go Jenn! I didn't go to my first Roo until after I had cancer so I hope to meet you on the farm in June!!! Be Strong and fuck cancer!
Just as a little update she had her surgery about two weeks ago and her prognosis is very good! She's been kickin' this things ass the whole time and I'm so happy that she's doin' very well. Thanks to y'all here fer all the well wishes and everythin'!
