I'll be hitting up North Charleston and Atlanta. If anyone wants to take the bus out to Charleston let me know.
I got presale for the fox (which I now found out was close to Impossible) but I didn't get charleston presale. I'll be scooping those up Friday from ticketmaster. Hopefully they still have floor somehow.

i'm just wondering, will the CT show be a tired show set between the boston and nyc run? or with the time off do they blow us out of the water with the "one-off" between runs?

Tuesday night was fantastic. My girlfriend and I arrived late and missed the first two songs of the first set, turns out our two favorites from the first set, Mississippi Half Step and Easy Wind. After obtaining the obligatory beverage and making our way to our seats after one attendant sent us the wrong way we settled in the middle of Operator. While the first set was energetic it left something to be desired, which was fulfilled in the second. They continued their trend of Abbey Road with Oh, Darling. Sounded like their own. To keep the energy going they played a great version of Reuben and Cherise and Ratdog's Money for Gasoline.
It was a long set break, but maybe they were just giving us a rest for what was in store. Second set filled in any gaps that might have been left from set one. Jam>Hard to Handle started it right. Extending past 10 minutes we knew we were in store for some good jams and good tracks. The next chunk of songs had some of my favorites (He's Gone, Smokestack Lightning) and the one (er, two) that I guaranteed, Scarlet>Fire. After Fire on the Mountain they went with Days Between, and this just was a bump in the road for me at least. Going almost 20 minutes I actually dozed for a moment. But sure enough they started picking up speed and busted into Eyes and it was an adrenaline shot in the donkeys of those at the Oakdale that night. Followed by Sugar Magnolia this night was set just right, having finally seen them perform Sugar Magnolia (my all-time favorite). I was really hoping to be the first show on the run to get the Terrapin encore, but Johnny B Goode did it for me. Overall this was a great show. I think i'd put it as #3 on my list of Furthur shows behind MSG and Vibes.
Anyone who hasn't seen Furthur yet, SHOULD. They are playing your favorite songs in your favorite way, pristine, and believe it or not very youthful. There is so much energy at these shows and they really enjoy what they're producing on stage. They really are taking it furthur.
(had to throw in the cheesy ending)
Set 1: Mississippi Half-Step > Easy Wind, Operator, Oh! Darling (1), Reuben and Cherise, Dark Hollow, Money for Gasoline, Foolish Heart
Set 2: Jam > Hard to Handle > Smokestack Lightning > Spoonful > He's Gone (2) > Lovelight > Scarlet Begonias > Fire on the Mountain, Days Between > Eyes of the World > Sugar Magnolia E: Johnny B. Goode
Ive never seen Furthur before but ive been dying to go. I missed out when tickets went on sale due to school. Do you think I might be able to score some tickets for the Atlanta show on the lot anywhere near face value?

i'd say look on craigs and stubhub, but i don't think it should be too difficult. i was late, so i didn't even have time to scan the lot. but i'm also in ct, not atlanta, don't know what that's like.
Thanks man. It would be about a three hour drive for me to make it, and it would be a real bummer not to be able to get in, ill definitely check those sites though.
You will get one in Atlanta. I walked around for an hour and a half for panic at the fox but I finally got one for face. I'll be looking around and seeing if I see any for face and I'll let you know.

That would be great if you could find one. I wouldnt even be too worried about getting in but Ive heard its a pretty small venue.

Is anybody going to the show in Orlando or Boca the next two days. I'll be at both if you wanna get a beer before or after, I'm going to take a couple days off for hanging out and jamming.
Was anyone at Charleston or Atlanta? In Charleston the Slipknot>Franklin's tower before the Revolution encore was awesome. But the best part of the two shows was Dark Star>Time by Pink Floyd at the Fox. Look it up on youtube. Gave me chills.
