We did DC last year but we drove there and back in the same day since it was only one show.
This year we stayed at Sleepy Bear for the two night stand.
I will go to every DC run after this year.
I don't know if I could stomach doing Alpine, though. What's the drive back for us? 14 hours? Jesus. Might as well do fucking summer terr if that's the case.

The trick is to find people who live in Indy and ride with them . I only did the 13th this year at DC but I got to take my kids to their first Phish show so it was worth it.
I grew up about ten minutes down the road from Alpine, so those shows were always the easiest to swing. Still are.
