Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Panic, G. Love, Matisyahu, Keller, Franti, Pretty Lights, Xavier Rudd, Easy Star All Stars... c'mon. Boring as hell. if you notice i left all of these off my "not boring" list and named 21 that are not boring.
The headliners will play 2 hours. Pretty much everything after 3pm or so is 1.5 hours, if I remember correctly. Early sets were 1 hour. Music is generally over by 1130. There will be separately ticketed, small late night shows in the hangout building.
I dont want to do the math right now but I would assume there will be a few more additions.....theres not enough bands there to fill up 5 stages for 33 hours.
What I think is funny that if the top 3 at Bonnaroo were Paul Simon, Foo Fighters, and Widespread Panic most people would say the lineup sucks.
simon and foos> dmb and kol
Yes, that line up for 300 would be particularly lame. For 179 dollars though, it would be fun. Now I will agree a large amount of these acts can and will be at festivals for years to come. This is largely why I sold my coachella ticket. I cannot justify a music festival for the experience alone.
With more and more festivals popping up every year, there is a huge over saturation of repeat acts. I think there is a valid point in a "we have been here and done that" sort of sense. This is a bit apples and oranges though. I mean jam fests tend to repeat the same headliners as it is. If this were as close as Waka, I would consider it, but there really isn't one act on the bill that you can't see outside of any U.S. fest or won't play the U.S. in the near future.

I bet we get a few more nice surprises in the additions.
Plus you got to factor in the weather. April and May in Florida is decent temps with hot sun and cool ocean breeze...gorgeous!
This festie isn't the total package, but for the price and location to me I'm all over it. I feel bad for the people that went last year because it does look like there are a decent amount of repeats on the list.
The only repeats I see are Franti, Matisyahu, Keller Williams, and Girl Talk. All those except Girl Talk got their sets screwed because of a major storm that shut the festival down. The Franti show to rekick off Sunday was an amazing moment and I am down with him on the beach again.

I heard Franti was amazing and was the one repeat I was hoping to see.
