(If anyone knows where I can find the entire original interview it would be greatly appreciated if you would share) It had some interesting/exciting tidbits that got me excited, and I just wanted to discuss.
Basically it says Trent is going to be working with David Fincher again to score 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' Also he's prepping a full length album for How to Destroy Angels.
I'm glad Trent is such a workaholic. Taking time off from touring for him means ALOT of new recorded musical output.
I'm looking forward to anything and everything he's planning to release. That man shits gold.
And wtf is this about a past collab with Zach de la rocha? How did I never hear of this? And regarding that, he says
there are a few good tracks lying around, but they’ll likely never see the light of day.
Why the fuck not? He should just release the demos on the internets. Can't hurt.
Also, he's pretty much stating he'll probably tour for NIN in the (probably distant) future. I found this part funny
Trent joked that before the band’s Wave Goodbye tour, he got a call from Gene Simmons advising him to “just say it’s your last tour, that always keeps the fans coming,”
One last note, I thought this was an interesting observation
Trent expanded on how The Fragile has aged in a somewhat unusual manner, since, at the time of its release, “it felt like no one liked the album,” but now “it feels like it’s everyone’s favorite.”
Seems to be the truth. I remember nobody liking that album when it came out, myself included. It was an acquired taste, and now I can't imagine having not loved it from the beginning. That album is a masterpiece, and imo one of the greatest albums, if not the greatest, of all time

I love The Fragile. One of my favorite albums of all time. I actually liked it from the beginning. Although, if I was a little older it might have taken a while to grow on me. I was 13 I think and thought it would be "cool" to shock everyone by listening to NIN. Although I really started listening with The Downward Spiral, this is when I "came out" as a fan. (... if that makes any sense)
Hopefully touring with NIN is not toooo distant. A little hope was shed when he tweeted back in November about watching tour footage and it making him miss it.
The following acts are now soliciting offers for festival shows this spring/summer (May-August) before confirming booking headlining tours according to a few promoters my area:

In NO WAY am I saying these bands are playing Bonnaroo, but its interesting that these are some of the names being thrown out to promoters. Besides Florencs + The Machine, Matt & Kim, and a maybe a few others I don't know how many of them would be Bonnaroo bound. I'd say most of them look more appropriate for Coachella and Lolla.
^^ I noticed Broken Social Scene on that list. They got an afternoon slot in 2008 ( I think it was '08), and they mentioned during their set that they'd love to come back and do a late night set. They have such a wide range genres they play; they would make an AWESOME late night set!!!!

Wow, How To Destroy Angels would be a cool get. I think their album/EP is a bit underrated, I quite enjoyed it.
I agree. It got very little buzz. Most people I know, even some NIN fans, had no idea at all Reznor had another musical project going on. They need to get their name out their now. I looovve their EP and really looking forward to hearing a full length album. I'd be ecstatic if they were booked for Bonnaroo. For me personally it would probably be the biggest get at this point
Also, the thing about De La Rocha reminded me: I'm still disappointed that Tapeworm never released anything, that was one hell of a lineup for a supergroup.
