Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I love it. Every year I see a group of people, it's usually a larger group, that LOVE the fact that they are Canadian. They will have matching shirts or towels or something to that effect. Something that lets everyone know where they are from.
(this is not the same group of people. I just always see it.)
I live in Buffalo so I can see Canada on a regular basis. I have spent a lot of time there. There are words that I picked up on when I was living in Oakville with a boyfriend. Even though we broke up in 05 there are still things that I say that my husband makes fun of me.
I think his favorite word to laugh at is "dollar".
And it took me a year to train myself into saying bathroom again.
Yeah it's probably even more pronounced out here... to me people in southern Ontario sound much more like people from Buffalo/NY then say a Manitoban. You'd probably laugh your ass off at how we pronounce some words.
Most people pegged us from Minnesota/Wisconsin who we met from other states, which is pretty close, I must say.
Ahhh didn't catch the Canadian Bacon reference, great movie... my favorite part is when they get pulled over and the cop makes them spraypaint the Canada bashing grafitti on their truck in French as well haha
I'm coming from Edmonton! Anyone else from around here going? I'm hoping to fill up my car, but if not, I'm coming alone! I'll be prepared with loads of Canadian shit.
We had set up our post in the Wal-Mart parking lot and were bored so my croo decided to walk around and see if anything cool was going on. Circa one of the front handicapped spots, this guy stopped me and shouted "ARE YOU CANADIAN?" and I said "yeah, man.. from toronto" (which is untrue) and he replied "NO SHIT MAN, ME TOO! WHAT PART?" then I conceded I was from Texas and this group of canadians smoked/drank us out.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

Hey! I thought I was the only one who goes to Bonnaroo from Winnipeg. Been there in 06, 07 and 09. Best time I had was when I drove in 2006, better than flying cuz you can take all your own stuff to camp. Are you and your friend driving or flying? Want to split gas and drive?
This'll be my first Roo... Travelling from alittle bit east of Toronto with a couple of buddies. Kudos to SOul8 driving from Manitoba... That has to be one loong trip.
Charleswoodboy - We'll be driving down, not sure if we'll have room for 3 depending on the vehicle we take, but keep in touch and maybe we can work something out.. I know soul8 is looking for people to drive down with her, she'll be coming from Edmonton. At the very least we should get some sort of convoy going.

OK, keep in touch then Crabs, PM me closer to the date and we'll arrange a convoy. I'm working on a couple other things to make the drive again, so staying in a group's probably a god idea.

Yeah well, no one comes up here to play for us, so we get a good bang for our buck going down there to see them. That's what made up my mind to drive 22 hours to see Radiohead in 06..
I did see Umphrey's McGee is in Fargo March 6th though.....
Headin' in from just outside Toronto. I believe we have a group of 4 driving down, and meeting up with another group of 8 along the way. planning on rolling in thursday morning together to set up a solid Canadian Compound and lay down some Hip on the boombox and drink some beers. From my reading it sounds like the happening place to be wednsday is the Walmart Parking lot ?
We are making the annual trip down with a group of 6 from Toronto and Stratford. Planning to drive down in an RV which is hard on gas but makes the road trip way more enjoyable. No need for constant bathroom and food stops, lots of room to just hang out and enjoy the ride.
Also having our own facilities means I don't have to try and remember not to ask for the 'washroom'. I did that in a grocery store in Mufreesboro one year and totally confused the cashier. She had no idea what I was talking about until the girl behind her shouted 'she's looking for the bathroom!!'
Im planning on heading down with a buddy Wednesday night from Toronto. Could possibly be looking to add a few people into the car to cut costs. We are planning on renting a vehicle to save the long trip on our vehicles. Let me know if anyone is interested or has room for 2!
