I collect the gig posters for the concerts ive been to. I have 15 currently, 9 of which are non professionally framed, the rest are being stored flat. Last year I bought the Guy Burwell event poster, which he autographed for me. It is, by far, the best looking poster of my collection, and ive been wanting to get it professionally framed since I got it. So yesterday, i found out that Michael's had 55% off their custom framing service, so I decided it was time.
I got a double floating mat, a decent looking frame, and non-reflective glass. Even with the discount, it was quite pricey, but I think I will be very happy with the end result. The mat colors almost perfectly match the green cloud and yellow trim around the bottom. The green mat (outside) will be 2 inches in width, and yellow mat (inside) will be slightly larger, with about 1/4 inch exposed.
I too am a bit of a concert poster collector. The Guy Burwell Roo '10 is by far the favorite in my collection. I have most of mine framed in the basic pre-made stuff they have at Michael's. I plan to get the Roo poster custom framed here:
2003 - Pearl Jam, Little Rock 2005 - Dave Matthews Band, Nashville 2008 - Jack Johnson, Bonnaroo 2008 - Pearl Jam, Bonnaroo 2008 - Bonnaroo by Ames Bros 2008 - Bonnaroo by Burlesque 2009 - DMB, Vanderbilt 2009 - DMB, Little Rock 2009 - Eddie Vedder (2 different prints), Memphis 2009 - Trans Siberian Orchestra, Memphis 2010 - Eric Clapton, Memphis 2010 - Pearl Jam, Indianapolis 2010 - Bonnaroo by Guy Burwell 2010 - The National, Bonnaroo 2010 - DMB, Bonnaroo
My mom framed the 2008 Burlesque Bonnaroo poster, but my idiot roomate fell into the wall that it was hung on and knocked it off, breaking the frame and glass. The poster is still in great shape, and I would be willing to get rid of it, if that is one of the ones you are interested in.
I have a pretty good small collection. I would say that 08 burlesque is one of the coolest posters out there. My friends get a bigger kick out of it than any of my Burwell stuff. I am guessing if they knew how much my 09 Burwell was worth they would look at it differently. insidetherockposterframe.blogspot.com/2009/06/new-guy-burwell-phish-bonnaroo-poster.html

nice collection of concert posters. i can see why you like Burwell's work so much. I just have one concert poster- The Mars Volta from roo 09, not sure who its by though
I only collect posters for shows I have been to, otherwise I would be broke, and unable to pay rent, but I would probably have 100s of posters. You can actually buy posters directly from guy burwell on his website, and cheap to 20 - 40 bucks usually.
So funny. We actually won the Fuse trip last year and just before Christmas a large package arrived at the house. Friends we brought with us bought the poster and had it framed and matted. The went with a brown/cream double mat and it's beautiful. If I can ever figure out how to post pics here I'll put it up.

Check Target, Wal-Mart or Michaels, if you have Prints Plus by you as well they may have it. I just use my local print guy though, he is so much cheaper than Michaels and it's always good to keep the mom & pop shops going. He charges my about $100 per poster to frame & matte
