Sweet. Kylesa is playing in DC tomorrow night. Guess I'll go check 'em out.
"Currently touring behind their acclaimed new record, Spiral Shadow, Savannah, GA's psychedelic-metal standouts Kylesa are gaining ever-increasing notoriety for explosive live shows during which Phillip Cope and Laura Pleasants' artfully incendiary guitar riffs are anchored by a formidable, dual-kit percussive onslaught."
Am I the only one who hasnt heard either of these bands? I'm not really a big metal guy, but these seem kind of obscure.
I looked in the Confirmations thread to see the bands listed there, and started doing research on them. I've never heard of Kylesa either, but from reading on the internet, they've up-and-coming in the metal scene.
These clues aren't always going to be for big acts.

Did we ever plug it into the actual clue to make sure that it is Kylesa? Gary didn't say for sure it was them. and he couldve been behind a page or something when he found the right answer.

Someone did, I think. Plus people have been tweeting the current answers at him, so I'm fairly sure he was caught up and such.

JHOinTN was the first to mention them. Credit where credit's due.

Well good because I'm missing Kylesa's DC show tomorrow to see Tokyo Police Club/Two Door Cinema Club.
I don't know much about Kylesa (yet), but this can't possibly be a bad decision. Enjoy.
Yeah I'm psyched. I love TDCC and kept missing them for other shows and stuff so it's about time! And they just announced a show March 15 in Austin so it's like TDCC week for me. ;D

No, you are not the only one. I think I MAY have heard of Sword...maybe...but only heard the name. I def haven't heard of other band. I'm not really into metal, so these are a huge let down for me.

The Sword is awesome. Kylesa I still need to listen to more, but you all should know the Sword, they played a fantastic set on Thursday night at Bonnaroo 08.
