A lot of people are saying this "clue" is about the Strokes ... someone with their band is called "the guru" and someone else with their band (I think he's the tour manager) is Richard Priest. And their new album comes out in two months.

This HAS to be Rage Against The Machine.... Still up (Wake Up) A month now, maybe 2... (about how long ago they announced they are 'officially' back and working on a cd due out um... this summer.) Find my Guru.... (Maybe a reference to the cover of their debut album that pictured the Buddhist Monk who set himself on fire in protest.) And they've played all the major festivals except Bonnaroo.
I'm probably dreaming again but good lord.... it's been long enough already! (They were touring in S. America a few months ago and they did a show in MA a couple days ago and one in San Francisco next month.)

I had a dream last night that I saw Rage Against the Machine in concert. Then they announced they would be at Bonnaroo. So that confirms it. Rage Against the Machine. haha.
And I'd like to think that It's the Flaming Lips performing the Soft Bulletin- they performed it on New Years Eve, which has been about a month ago, and they have that song "A Priest driven Ambulance"
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed Fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio." -Hunter S. Thompson

How about Jack Johnson for this one? He does have a song called "No Other Way" where he talks about not being able to sleep and he has a song called "My Guru". I guess he also did a song called "Just Can't Go To Sleep"... the only thing is I can find the lyrics in a million places but I can't seem to find a video for it.
It's 311 - ever play "You Don't Know Jack" check it out on wikipedia - look at question types - "gibberish question" a part of the game where you are given a nonsensical sentence that sort of sounds like a more common phrase. It's called a "mondegreen", and there are numerous sites out that describe mondegreens and attribute rap and hip-hop lyrics to being misunderstood. And there is an encyclopedia of 311s mondegreens, plus several other bands. But this clue sounds like ALL MIXED UP (get it) all mixed up, don't know what to do, next thing you turn around and find the person is you. Also on the 311 website it says "Summer tour coming including special event". Check out my guesses for clues #1 and #2
