Tix for the memphis show go on sale friday, and I am soooooooo getting in on that shit. If it was the Forum, I would probably pass, but the Orpheum is a beautiful theater, with a pretty awesome sound system. Wow, I like how this year's concert lineup is coming together for me.
Arcade Fire MIM (Flaming Lips, Avett Brothers, MGMT, Cage the Elephant) Of Montreal Deftones Bonnaroo (Buffalo Springfield, Arcade Fire, My Morning Jacket, Robert Plant, Primus, Iron and Wine, Explosions in the Sky, STS9) Then hopfully a Pearl Jam festival, at alteast a few shows on their impending tour.
You can book tickets on their website, using some "Crowdsurge.com" nonsense, but I cant get the Fing website to take my credit card. I better get good seats Friday when tickets go onsale. I had 7th row seats in my cart at one point.
I am still pissed about the presale horseshit. 7th row tickets squandered because their suck ass website wouldn't take my credit card. My repeated attempts to buy tix got my debit card hot-carded too. Oh well, I will get to see them in June.
Well, on your first 29th birthday, take comfort (or discomfort) in knowing that you are making someone you've never even met incredibly jealous.
