Conan would be welcomed back with open arms, but I don't know if he would. I think a big part of him making the stop last year was the tour he was on. Also, Reggie Watts should come back and be given more time in the comedy tent.

I'm sure that they would love to have conan back, I just don't know if he would come. I'm pretty sure his appearance last year was due to the fact that he wasn't on TV at the time and that he was touring. I doubt he would take a break from doing his show to come out to the farm again, though that would be pretty awesome.

I swear I remember something I heard/read/saw last year at Roo or shortly after Roo last year that made me think he might MC roo again, but for the life of me I can't remember exactly what it was..
It does seem unlikely with him being back on TV but, IF he does come back then maybe we'll see him play onstage with Jack White somewhere in the mix of things.. The Vinyl He and Jack White recorded was hilarious and pretty damn good musically as well.. anyways I'll search out this thread again if I remember why I ever thought that in the first place.
You guys need to quit playing fast and loose with the word "epiphany." An epiphany is a big thing; save the word until you actually have one.
This isn't an epiphany, it's a thought, and a half-assed one at that.
That's a weird point to make a stand on but fight the power!
Well...it's like when a certain genre of music becomes oversaturated. You get too many bands or artists making the same type of music within the same guidelines, and eventually it all starts to run together and it starts to lose the allure of what made it interesting in the first place.
If we start calling every thought we have an epiphany, then that word, which in my opinion has real power, will lose its meaning. An epiphany is a spiritual awakening, something that makes you see some sort of truth you couldn't see before. It's a powerful thing; James Joyce wrote a lot about it and its role in literature.
The epiphany is something I value and think is important, and it's something I don't want devalued. Does that make any sense?

That's cool. It's just the first time I've found someone so attached to the word. Or, really, having any expressed opinion on the use of the word at all. But it's good to care about stuff so rock on!
