i just dont think she has a fan base with roosters and i dont think her show is that....well good. she seems to be a radio act to me and i dont think most roosters listen to the stations that play her that often. i mean she may come and be great....but..i dont know - she would need a killer lights show and some way to pretend to be singing

exactly! plus they play Americana/bluegrass/alt-country. and i would consider them a pretty big add for roo, but they wouldnt be a "giant" performer. I'm really thinking its them! FIRST!
EDIT: anyone care to tweet gary? im not much of a twitterer

EDIT: trying to fit in the red white blue clue more
Blue- Bluegrass (obvious) Red- They have been featured on Conan several times (in fact this is where i FIRST heard of OCMS) White- I just cant place it...HELP
I can somewhat make the connection with the colors... she's a Redhead, her middle/last? name is Blue, and she's a white girl (yeah, a stretch there). The other parts of the clue, I'm at a loss right now.
I've got to run out for a bit, but I wanted to throw her name out there before I left. I will try to make more connections later.

Yes they are... Announced that way when Mumford & Sons brought them on stage at their show in Nashville this last year...
red, white and blue are not exclusive to the American flag. They are also the colors of the flags of France, the UK and Australia....and I'm sure a couple of others.
I know Gary apparently ruled out Ten being from 2010 but is Baroness an option? They have the Red Album and Blue Record. Don't know about White though...
Roy G and the Biv are an electro-pop band from Denton, TX. Kinda sound like Passion Pit. They'd fit the colors part but I don't know about the rest...

Red, White, Blue - She was on American Idol young palette - new female artist farm heathen - She grew up on a farm and has one album called "farmer's daughter" She made the Top 10 on American Idol
There was a story about her agents trying to get her a spot at Bonnaroo.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
I think it's a solo performance from someone usually associated with a band, possibly a female, that has never played bonnaroo. "Red white and blue" or "farm heathen" refer to the band this person is in I think. I haven't been right about anything else, no reason I should be right about this either though.

And yet, you're close....
so should we take this to mean a female solo artist usually associated with a band?

I think you just hit my threshold itrain. More than anything else i never want to have to admit i was at a festival for a <insert insta teen pop success> band regardless of how many other bands would be there. Of course, i wonder how that conversation would go with booking other bands if that happened:
superfly - we have a great propositon for you to play Roo this year. We are going to draw in a lot of people with BIEBER Potential other band - ummmm....
