Going Back has anyone seriously thought about this clue being Neil Young. The clue is "Red, White, and Blue... Red= He has written a song called "Red Sun" Blue= Hey Hey My My (outta the blue) and White= "White Line" are all part of neil youngs song choices or Palette, A farm hethen= Neil is responsible for farm aid were he where big name artists play "giants" The only 10 I see could be reffering to the song "10 men" or could be talking about his link with pearl jam. Also reffering to not being old enough for woodstock it could be Neil and Crazy horse which I dont believe joined until later on.
Out of all of the various interpretations for the farm heathen and the giants that we've got, I don't think any of them really touch on the fact that the farm heathen is DISGUISED among giants. I don't know where to go with that, but...I think it might be significant.
Oh man, plasticpepper. When you're good, you're good.

Gillian Welch sings on the Decemberists Down by the Water, she certainly was influenced by Americana music when she was groing up, could be her or Dave Rawlings Machine
Rooin' since '05...(except 2014...worst June of my life!)
"Hey Peter Frampton! Do you like toast too? Yes, as do I. It is warm and crispy, and a perfect place for jelly to lay. Now stay the hell away from me Frampton, I ain’t got sh*t to say to you!"

First thought:
Orianthi
Guitar player who made her mark with Santana, Michael Jackson, Prince, and on American Idol and is now stepping into the spotlight with a new solo album. I don't know how it fits into to anything else besides disguised among giants and red, white, and blue as she's Australian though...

Possibly Conor Oberst in some form? Has an album coming out next month, fits the farm heathen disguised among giants part (very shy, from omaha) Red, White, and Blue makeup could mean he is a political activist, which he is. Cant fit Tennessee in there though...
Okay, so what could make our lovely farm heathen "disguised" among giants?
That band mentioned earlier, Here Come the Mummies, is a possibility. Or, I suppose, other bands who play in costume.
I know someone already said it, but maybe not such a bad idea--especially now. "Wolf in sheep's clothing"? I keep thinking of this phrase because of the DISGUISE and WOLF hints...

Sweet, okay, back to the red hair/fair skin/blue eyes idea! I know we came up with quite a few lovely ladies who fit that description, any who fit the rest of the clue too?
