Well then I hope to god its her, everyone seems to want it to be her, and I can't get a single comment bout a band referencing witches, giants, a farm, and the color u get when u mix red blue and white on a palette
When you mix red, blue & white you get light purple.
Needless to say, I don't think mixing the colors is what this clue is suggesting - more like that these colors are present on the "palette" of this band/ person, perhaps when they were young (or they are young now). For example: someone who dyes their hair different, bright colors such as red, white and blue.
Sorry, but you're a day late and a dollar short...I gave up on light purple = "Violet Cries" yesterday...There was way more to it than just the color thing but I'm over it...The angry mob has spoken

I was actually just pointing out that one does not have to search the internet to figure out what you get when you mix red, blue, and white. Anyone in kindergarten art class figures that out. I was trying to be nice instead of saying "you're stupid for searching for that"
I wasnt SEARCHING for mixing them together - I was defending my guess yet again...Whatever, play nice...I dont wanna argue with a fellow buckeye of all things

I've been too busy at work to be into the clue solving as much as I was last year, but I think I have a good guess to this clue. Much thanks again goes out to plasticpepper for the RooClue site that allowed me to keep in touch!
My answer: Jenny Lewis
My reasoning: Redhead, solo act Qoute from Wikipedia "Lewis made her professional debut in a Jell-O commercial. She was featured in the short-lived 1986 Lucille Ball sitcom Life With Lucy, where she was cast as one of Lucy's grandchildren.[4] She also had small roles on such TV shows as The Twilight Zone, Baywatch, Golden Girls, Growing Pains, Just the Ten of Us, Roseanne, Mr. Belvedere, and Brooklyn Bridge.[4]"
She has had roles in shows on Baywatch (found down by the water tweet from Gary) and 'Just the Ten of Us' (referring to the Ten in the clue).

I await your agreements/pitchforks...
i like your reasoning and learning something new everyday. had no idea jenny lewis acted.
I know ive said a lot of this on this page already but I wanted to put all my Karen Elson info in one message to keep it together
Red, White, and Blue are all a part of this young palette.
She has red hair, blue eyes and is very pale. She is Britsh (red, white and blue flag), she was in The White Stripes (Red/White) video for Blue Orchid. She has a daughter named Scarlett and is married to Jack White.
A farm heathen disguised among giants, the only Ten I see
She is a model so she would be the only Ten I See and models are tall so her singing talents would be disguised among giants. It also works with Gary’s clue about makeup
A farm heathen
From Wiki: Some of Elsons songs, like 'Lunasa', are even associated with pagan (heathen) and celtic music. Also in relation to heathen i believe her and Jack were married in a canoe by a witch doctor or a shaman or something Someone else mentioned that her band is represented by Black Raven
Garys’ Clues about Moolight and down by the water
Her album has a giant full moon on the cover and she was married in a canoe
im positive it's this. Plus Flighttest adding this.
Disguised among the giants means she's always dressed in other peoples clothes, she's modeled for most of the top names in fashion ie- the giants.
and Dorkfish85 adding these lyrics
"It was an ordinary night in June/ when he drove her to the lake/ so they could watch the full moon."

Karen Elson is sounding good. Seems like a decent fit to me!
At some point I'll look at everything mentioned between the no and the yes from Gary and see if there's anything else that seems as likely, but I'm thinking it's a pretty decent bet Karen Elson is the one.

Seriously? You've never seen "The Wizard"???
And Troop Beverly Hills with Shelley Long!!!!!!!!! LOVED THAT MOVIE!!! ;D I had NO IDEA she sang! Had heard of her band but didn't know she was singer and missed her a few years ago. Then a year later I see a picture of her and realize she was a child actress. Was then bummed I missed the show.

Wynonna Judd? Could the giants be her famous sister and mother? Obviously used to be in the Judds and lives in Nashville I do believe. She also has an album coming out this year. Doesn't she also do something with makeup? (palette) Also her real name is Christina Ciminella (disguised).
