the farm heathen disguised among giants kind of makes me feel like its some sort of 'supergroup' a band full of 'giants' and this bonnaroo vet(farm heathen) may not get a lot of recognition in the group.
now i have no idea who this may be, but it was i got out of it.
That's what I got from it as well, or he was with a big group before, and is now solo.
Red, White, and Blue=Country Artist/America's Sweetheart farm heathen among giants=Girl from state fairs now among the biggest acts in music Ten I See=Grew up in Tennessee
this (sadly) makes a good amount of sense. best logic so far IMO.
The "only Ten I see" part doesnt make me think its someone from Tennessee, but rather I think Gary just put it like that to be cute. I think that rather, it could be someone who came up in the early days who was often compared with the big grunge acts, but its not Pearl Jam, because "a farm heathen disguised among giants" is the only Ten he sees.
This train of thought makes me think Wanda Jackson with Jack White. Although the "young palette" doesn't make sense with the clue. Red, WHITE, and Blue does (although not subtle).
I was thinking The White Stripes because of the red and white thing but this came from Gary's Twitter:
Rooin' since '05...(except 2014...worst June of my life!)
"Hey Peter Frampton! Do you like toast too? Yes, as do I. It is warm and crispy, and a perfect place for jelly to lay. Now stay the hell away from me Frampton, I ain’t got sh*t to say to you!"

Taylor Swift was born in PA. Moved to Nashville at age 14.

The White Stripes may not be that bad of a guess. I think there is a reason for the Red Blue and White being caps. Red being the first letter of the sentence, Jack White being a name and Blue Orchid being a song of the band.
Red, White, and Blue are all a part of this young palatte. A farm heathen disguised among giants, the only Ten I see
Protomen
Relatively (past 4 years) new band from Tennessee comprised of relatively young people. They're a rock opera group that plays music about about the Megaman universe. Megaman is Blue, Protoman is red and white. When they play live, they are dressed up like robots.

i googled 'red white blue ten' and got a 2006 album from brian mcknight entitled "ten" with a song called 'red white and blue'.
i really hope this isnt it, though it kinda makes sense as he could be disguised amongst the soul/R&B "giants" that have played in the past (al green, etc).

The letters are capitalized because a lot of people capitalize them when they are talking about the American flag.

For my third "amazing" guess.
Red, White, and Blue are all a part of this young palatte. A farm heathen disguised among giants, the only Ten I see.
Young band, with the flags red white and blue (british). They were disguised last year because so many other good bands were playing and people missed them. The only band from 2010 he sees...
Mumford & Sons.
Final answer.
Heathen is also a British word.
Middle English hethen, from Old English hǣthen; akin to Old High German heidan heathen, and probably to Old English hǣth heath

I really like the idea that ten could mean a band that played in '10.
