I do realize that Jack White as a guess was discouraged, but alot of the elements fit. His last name was one of the three colors, (weak connection I know) but as a group Jack and Wanda Jackson have a fairly new career together. Her latest vinyl which was pressed by Third Man Records was Fuschia colored which is a combination of Red, White, and Blue. Additionally Jack in the past has played at Bonnaroo with the White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather so he as a 'roo regular would be disguised by the group as a whole. Also he lives in Tennessee where his record label is based but also fits the only Ten I see due to the fact that he presented himself as one of ten children as revealed from an early interview with meg during the white stripes. I know I know im Making it fit. but who cares. at least its some concrete evidence instead of just a name.

Red, White and Blue on their palette - intentional misspelling/double meaning - 'palate' Red, White and Blue on their palate - their tastes are red white and blue, ergo, they play Americana music?
American Bang is a solid guess for this clue. Young band from TN. Their album cover is a red, white, blue theme. Single called "Wild & Young". They played Bonnaroo as a cafe act in '07 under the name Bang Bang Bang.

This seems kinda strange but my guess is Chris Young(country artist). The young reference is obvious, he has a song called "Taste of Country"(palette), he's from Murfreesboro, he won the USA network's music competition(Red White and Blue). I honestly don't know anything about this guy but he kept coming up as I tried to research this clue.

I agree with the idea of a palette/palate play on words, especially since when we initially had the clue misspelled as "palatte" Gary said "Is it an error?"

what about Warpaint?
they are a young band (just put out their debut LP this year), goes with the 'palette' theme, and their album cover is a mess of red, white, and blue. a warrior may also be considered a heathen, i suppose.
plus they played a show at the Troo Music Lounge at Bonnaroo last year, if im not mistaken.
Rooin' since '05...(except 2014...worst June of my life!)
"Hey Peter Frampton! Do you like toast too? Yes, as do I. It is warm and crispy, and a perfect place for jelly to lay. Now stay the hell away from me Frampton, I ain’t got sh*t to say to you!"
I don't post on here very often, but it seems too obvious that it is American Bang. The red white and blue is in their name, the farm heathen being the have played too before, and they are from Tennessee.

Hmm, this is a good guess. Especially because with the colors and palette they might be trying to say a "young artist"
Haha I actually ask Gary every band that pops up here that makes a little sense.
Probably not a good idea. He's not allowed to confirm anything so asking about a specific band isn't going to accomplish much, and you're just ending up asking about things that have already been ruled out anyway.
