Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
dontthinkfly + a few/2 cars May be caravanning only, not sure yet.
mcparkfan77 will be hanging out with Inforoo VIP for perks but camping in GA - hence the .5 we have on the number of members ;D
VIP RV's - I have had this smiley for way too long and finally get to use it
campcrew iSkew & Sassbox & Bamabelle
Please see my post towards the bottom of page 4 or Scrogs first post in the thread for info on Camp Inforoo VIP 2011 signups. I do need this info because I will be sending out some info by email and an accurate car count will be very important to supreme victory.
As of now we have 59.5 Roosters in 31 vehicles!! This is including 2 vehicles for dontthinkfly and I estimated 4 people. I am waiting to hear back if this group will be part of us for sure or not.
As Holls stated above, we will be ultimately meeting in lot in front of Home Depot at 187 Roberts Boulevard, Manchester, TN 37355 and expect the meetup time to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 8:30 am. Seeing how we are not meeting at a grocery store this year, we will be able to depart quicker, but I may bump the time back a little for those that need to pick up some last minute items.
Sending me this info can seem like a pain in the but I do have my reasons for needing all the stuff I asked for. The better prepared we are and I am initially, the quicker the bonnaroo beverages will flow into our tummies
Im not trying to harsh yalls buzz, but that is not going to be a good place to meet up and try to get into roo VIP together. That lot is literally PACKED with people and cars on Thurs. And, it is across the street from the VIP entrance, so you will have to get all 50 or so cars across the street together.
I will think about this and see if I can come up with a good place for yall to meet.

Appreciate it Roofan, better to know this now than show up to a lot that we can't use. Keep us posted, I may try to take a bike ride down there to scope out the situation too, or Google Earth, hmm . . . . any corn fields around??

If your headed this way soon, let me know and we'll get together for a minute when your here. I'll take you over to the farm and see the tree....
Well, my fellow mutants it's looking very much like I'm losing my grip on seeing you all in June.
I have to be (sigh) a parent and deny Graham (my son) our Bonnaroo trip this year. Not a happy thing for either of us
None of my local friends have either the time or the money this year either.
I've considered going solo, but I really feel that the whole Bonnaroo experience needs to be shared..including the road trip thing from here in Ohio.
I'm not ruling 'roo out yet. If there are any of you in a similar pickle, let me know. I haven't bought ticket(s) yet.
Honestly, I am more sad about not hanging with you all than anything else! You all represent the true spirit of Bonnaroo and I have many great memories from last year.

Ideas anyone?
Downer Patrol
I am sad to hear that Xray. I understand the situation with Graham may be difficult, but it is my first instinct to tell you that you shouldn't let that prevent you from coming out and doing what you want, that could also give him more incentive in the future if he sees how much fun he missed out on (I don't know the exact situation and not trying to tell ya how to treat your son, but just a thought).
Stay posted and see if anyone here is going to be coming through your area or lives reasonably close. Even if you meet one of us along the way, especially a solo member, meet at one of yalls houses and carpool together/split the package with em. I believe Holls and Cajun both have bought a package with no claim on the other ticket. Our community is a strong one and if you want to make it happen, we will make sure it does.

Alrighty folks, I am going to start the official list for Camp Inforoo VIP
I need the following info from those that are going to be in our camp: 1. Inforoo Name - Please also include your original name for sending PM's (My inforoo name is Mike D but for PM's I have to use my original name Dziegiel) 2. Real Name 3. Phone Number - cell phones preferred 4. Email address 5. Have you actually purchased your tickets yet(in full or started the payment plan)? 6. Will you be driving or riding, who will be in your car? Please also include the names of those who will be coming with you that are not on inforoo. 7. Will you be able to meet us in Manchester Thursday morning around 8-9? 8. Any requests on who you would like to camp by? If you will be sharing gear with someone and need to be parked by them I will need to know.
Folks, you will not be on the Official Camp Inforoo VIP List until I get this info.
Please send me this info in a PM here. Seeing how this is Camp Inforoo VIP I would like to keep as much of the discussion pertaining to our camp here. I will be emailing out some information as far as camp plans, phone list, how to ensure we all have a drink in our hands by noon, etc when the time comes.
We will be deciding on the exact time as Roo gets closer, but plan on being in Manchester by 9 on Thursday morning to meet up. We will do our best to compensate any late folks, but it is next to impossible to reserve a full spot for a late car. I know we fit at least one extra car in last year.
I would also like to go ahead and post up that I will have room to accommodate a few folks that would like to drive down Wednesday and stay in Nashville the night before. I live a little less than an hour and a half from Bonnaroo so it is just a quick jump down the interstate.
If anyone has any questions please post up here or feel free to PM me or email 274sotke at gmail dot com
I just realized there is no real VIP RV camp. If you would like to help make one I am including the names of those who have asked about it. All VIP RVers are also welcome to hang out with us anytime . . . . no, not welcome . . . required

Although we are already a large group, the more the merrier!! All are welcome to join us, but we don't know you want to join us until you ask!!
There are a few things to note:
I will be sending out the parking/camping assignments roughly 2 weeks before Roo via email. This will have the meeting point, exact times, parking diagram, and any other last minute reminders.
I have been told by a few folks that they will not be going to the really late shows and would like to be separated from the party animals so to speak. If anyone else would like to be in a more quiet section of camp for any reason, please let me know. Some of us do get just a little crazy, but we do our best to respect all those around us. We will all still be in the same isle of camping spots, but these folks will have one of the ends of camp.
If you will be splitting gear with someone or need/want to be camped next to someone in particular I need to know as soon as possible.
Scrog has a fairly large "monkey hut" he is bringing that can be up to 30 ft long. If you don't have much shade to offer or would like to be close to this monstrosity, please let me know. It will take up a good bit of space down a row, but will provide a large amount of shade. This will most likely be on the end opposite of the quiet kidz corner (FYI I refer to everyone at roo as kidz, you may be three times as seasoned at life as I am, but when I get to camp I will be all like, whats up kidz, how were the shows you saw today?)
Just so everyone knows, the size of our individual spots are supposed to be the same as GA (10 ft in front of or behind your car. This is usually not the case though, it is an extremely generous 10 ft and vehicles typically fit across the spot. We will be arranged down one isle, 2 spots deep. Our vehicles will make a giant box ( ok maybe a rectangle) around our massive area. Sleeping tents will go just inside of our vehicles, as well as your cooking areas, etc. This will leave a very long run down the middle for our common area. We will put up all of out EZ ups, shade tents, tarps in this middle area. Be prepared to share all of the space. One spot may only have one car and one tent, the next may have two tents and three EZ ups. Just because you brought it doesn't mean it has to fit in your assigned area. We are all in this together, please be prepared to share the "common area" for the greater good of Camp Inforoo VIP.
Also be prepared for all this planning to go to hell in a handbasket with the parking folks. We will do our best to keep to our plan, but if the parking gets all screwed up we will still have the same general idea for our camp. This is our weekend, our camp, our people and we will have an amazing time with all these new-to-us camp mates we have.

John,
You are more than welcome to caravan down with Erin and I. We're leaving Cleveland Wed. late morning/early afternoon and we'll stop in Murfreesboro for the night then meet up with everyone else Thursday morning.
I haven't booked a room yet but we'll probably just grab the cheapest room we can find in Murfreesboro.
We may also have another car joining us. Some other friends from Cleveland are going and staying GA. Not sure yet when they'll get out of work though and if they'll be able to leave as early.
Hope you'll consider joining us... The more the merrier.
Sorry it's been so long since I've been on... new job keeps me very very busy.
Ron and I are flying into Knoxville on Wednesday morning (taking the red-eye out of Portland on Tuesday), picking up our rental car, buying groceries and a few supplies, going out to dinner with Ron's aunt and uncle, getting some much needed rest and then waking up early and driving in to see our favorite Family! ;D
This is gonna be super hectic for me and I am gonna need y'all and Roo more than ever. We've got Sasquatch! two weekends before, then I have to go to Walla Walla the next weekend for work, I get back on Sunday night and then I have to get all of our stuff ready to go to Tennessee two nights later.
It'll all be worth it when I see your smiling faces and pull into the Farm.

It would be a mistake to put me anywhere near the quiet end of the camp.
Oh, he's already factored that into the camping arrangements
Haha. Mike's awesome (But I already knew that.)
I've also found Belgian beer in cans that's NOT Stella! YAY.
Yaaay! Bunny! Buy some extra I will pay you for it when I get there! Stella is the Bud of Belgium in case anyone doesn't know...and Belgian beer is my FAVE!! I will send you a check in advance if you want! You are the bestest!!
So far in the beer pile I have 21st Amendment's Hell or High Watermelon, Dale's Pale Ale, Butternut's Pork Slap Pale Ale, and Leinenkugels Summer Shandy<-----My FAVE summer beer. Also, if any of you in our group know of any beers in cans that you can't get near you but would like to have, PM me. I run a bar, so if it is distributed in MD I can probably get it.

Good thing I bought a single. It tasted like canned shite
I'll go back and see what else they gots.
ps: There's a reason really good beer isn't available in cans.

THIS STUFF!
Is it any good? I saw it in Whole Foods & instantly thought "hey, a funny canned beer for 'Roo" - but didn't buy it yet. The watermelon stuff sounds delish, but I'm a huge fan of the fruity & the Belgians. (oh, if y'all have never had a Fruli strawberry lager, you're missing out!)

Hello folks!
Tara and myself are both interested in joining your tribe, BUT between the two of us we do not have a parking pass and we will also be unable to reach the farm until Thursday afternoon, as we are flying in.
Is there any way we can camp with you all? We will have 2 tents, 1 shade tent and little else.

I'm pretty sure Mike can manage to squeeze you in somewhere. Y'all are welcome to share my cooler and I'll have a couple of extra chairs.
I thought Tara had sworn off VIP? You should post in the Helping Hands thread for things you will need.

CKS, let me know what you guys need. Chairs, cooler, water, beer, food? The roomie and I should have some extra stuff... we're always overprepared.

Same here, I always bring too much water, food, wine, chairs, etc. You are both welcome to share my stuff.
