sunscreen spray water bottle hand towel/bandana sunglasses
NIGHT:
flashlight bug spray
DAY and NIGHT:
poncho camera phone $$$ smokes lighter gold bond schedule/map
you've actually needed bug spray on the regular basis? In my 3 years of being there i think I used bug spray once...
Yeah I always bring bug spray just in case, but have never actually used it. I'm one of those people that attracts any but that bites or stings, but have never had any problems at Roo.
the shower curtain liner idea is brilliant! it could be sewn to the blanket to make it even more durable? just a thought.
The plastic is so thin that sewing it would only tear it. A heavy duty fabric glue works just as well as sewing. I've even washed and dried mine several times. It's as sturdy as it needs to be while being extremely lightweight.
I carry a small Camelbak-style backpack. Like a kid size.
- Ziploc of Clorox wipes (to wipe down portapotty) - Ziploc of TP - Ziploc of Cottonelle (or another brand) wipes - Pstyle (http://www.thepstyle.com/pages/pstyle) - Camera - Spray sunscreen - Lip balm with SPF - Gum (I like the fruit type, more refreshing) - Sharpie - Business cards (get cheapy ones from VistaPrint with name, email, Twitter for when you meet people) - Bandanna (to wipe brow, cover head, whatever) - a towel-sized cotton cloth my mom got me from Africa - really packs up small and can fit in bungees on backpack as groundcloth or even a shawl - Cell phone

I like to drag in my steamer trunk full of doll heads and compost peelings. On my back, I carry a crossbow and a string of dry cat carcasses. Oh, can't leave camp without my Carmex and unscented, vegan facial scrubbs. I also carry a pocket schedule from 2003 and some Chicklets mixed with lint and tobacco.
During the day I try to bring all the stuff listed. When I go out for the latenights I put everything of value away, and put 40 bucks and a corn holder with a moderate amount of corn in my pocket and go in with no worries.
This - but during the day - it's all in a backpack that elusiveboz carries - I try to carry nothing if I can help it!

Lint?! Really? I mean come on, who-the-fuck carries lint in their pocket.
I think it's a girl vs boy sort of thing. A lot of guys don't care too much about a nasty porta potty or sitting in mud.
I may seem high maintenance with my long list, but I won't be whining about sunburn, being uncomfortable etc. and ruining the vibe of a good show! I'm prepared, and comfy all day in Centeroo! (come night, I am pretty much cash, camera, and hoodie around my waist).
I like to keep it simple; water bottle during the day, water and flashlight at night time. However, this year I think I will include some sunscreen in that equation.
my list is usually: cash sunscreen blanket schedule cigs phone sunglasses granola bars (security never seems to care about them for some reason...) party supplies
I used to have the philosophy of "if it didn't fit in my pocket, I don't need it". Wich ment wallet, phone and smokes.
Now that said my wife has me bring a small messenger bag full of ponchos, water bottles, sunscreen (2 kinds), advil, crackers, and a blanket strapped to the outside.
I miss my pocket philosophy.

Wow you people carry a ton of sh*t with you ! OK, I'm a 59 year old, overweight hippie with a bad back that loves the farm. There are only a couple of neccessities for me........cargo shorts and I stuff everything in the pockets and a water bottle with a shoulder strap. I make sure I have plenty of cash and really good walking shoes. The cash is for all of those lemonade stands. The walking shoes for the back. I take a couple of salt tablets when I leave the tent to retain water, stay hydrated and it keeps me from going to the portapotty at an inopportune time. I have found that in the Tennessee heat, carrying camelbaks and other backpacks adds heat to my body and is hard to keep up with at a concert venue. There's plenty of fluids sold at Centeroo and there's the free water. As for ponchos and stuff, hey, let it rain ! Don't you people ever see fully clothed folks getting drenched at the mushroom fountains ? To me, less is more. Can't wait to see the RHCPeppers.

After Bonnaroo 09 when the temperature dropped and the monsoons started, I will never do that again. I froze my ass off so much that I had to go back to camp after Zac Brown Band put on jeans, hoodie and more. Then I slept in the car because I could not stop shivering. To me, staying dry makes that much more of a difference.

Just change your philosophy to "if it doesnt fit on your wife it doesnt come with you" Boom! happy times ;D

I take a poncho, blanket, flag, sunscreen, cameras, flashlight and lazer.. I strap my Bayou Billy cup on one of my straps, and carry a gallon of water.. So im that guy everyone complains about waiting in line to fill thier 20oz bottle up.. 60 days yall!! WOOT!!
Backpack has smokes, camera, cash, sunscreen, lip balm, a mini hair brush, schedule and a guidebook if they didn't run out by the time we rolled in. I also carry a bunch of hand held paper fans that I give away during the day and glow goodies during the night
- Business cards (get cheapy ones from VistaPrint with name, email, Twitter for when you meet people)
That's a really neat idea. I'd forgo ordering some, get some perforated cards from an office supply store, and just print your own. Also! Instant corn holder!

Right. As for what I usually carry into Centeroo with me... Messenger bag. Contents: Schedule, obviously. Also extra lighters, tp, reusable water bottles, extra bandannas, extra cigarettes, handmade bracelets to give to random people because it's awesome, small first aid kit (It's come in handy in past years), wallet, and camera. As m'colleague up there said, clip on the Bayou Billy mug, and a flashlight. I find this suits most of my needs.
