Consider The Source Five Spot, Atlanta GA $5 "Sci-fi/Middle Eastern/Funk". I've personally never seen them, but a friend of mine saw them one night, and he said they absolutely blew him away. I can see it.

One of the best bands Ive ever seen live, even after roo 06-06 and all good '10 and '11, this bands musicianship is way above genius level. Ive heard Brownie from the biscuits say he dreams of being as good as this bassist. says CTS is on a diff level. Id love to hear them cover ANY primus song, but haven't heard a cover out of them yet.
doubt they'll be at roo this year, but do yourself a favor and SEE THEM
