So we just got back from Bonnaroo early this morning, we had a so-so time...one small problem, here's the story:
So my buddy decides to take 2 tabs Thursday his first time doing it...after a few shots of Capt. Morgans nonetheless...anyways, we finally get to the campsite and all set up and he just disappears without us knowing.
Here's the kicker...He comes back around 3 AM completely naked and stripped of everything he had (shoes, pants, shirt, and ONE sock..even his wristband was off)...the only thing he had on was his ONE sock he had left, covering his D1ck....it was quite funny and a good story to start Bonnaroo off, but sad nonetheless.
But here's the thing...After the first night, he stayed in the tent the ENTIRE weekend and didnt even go to one show!!! He was acting weird the whole weekend and def. wasn't himself, he was to laid back. He seemed like he had a bit of a cold and was sick so it was understandable. But I think something happened that he didnt like.
So he calls my brother this morning and says "I need to talk to you, i know what happened, I took down names, but I can't talk for long because my phone is being bugged".
Needless to say we were like "WTF??? what are you talking about??"
Does anyone know what the fvck is wrong with him...was the tabs bad??? bad trip??? I think something crazy happened that pretty much freaked him out, but now im thinking that something in his head is not right...anyone have any idea of what to do or any info regarding the acid and can anything be done??? He's just wicked weird right now and this happened on Thursday. I just want our buddy to be normal again.
**** Please don't lock this, it's not about druqs rather than getting some insight if anyone had seen him or noticed anything...we're sort of worried about the situation.
He's a short, maybe 5'7 but stocky and well-built kid, tanned skin with dark hair and eyes...anyone see him and can you give us some info???? Thanks in advance, truly appreciated.

I've heard of acid having prolonged effects on people before, but never constant like that. Usually it's just periodic "trips" at random times from what I've seen. I never saw your friend i don't think, but who knows... I saw lots of people flipping out on their doses. It sounds like he just has the paranoia common with doing drugs, but that normally wears off as the drugs do. If he doesn't snap out of it you may consider suggesting he go to a doctor just to make sure everything in his head is still alright. Bust of luck to ya, hope he gets back to himself soon
If people have underlying mental problems, some druqks can bring them out, I would say if he is not better in a couple of days, you should somehow intervene, maybe just call his parents if that is possible, it sucks, but it is in his best interest in the end.
Sounds like he had an onset of paranoid schizophrenia brought on by the chemicals he was taking.
He needs to go to an emergency room IMMEDIATELY and get looked over by some professionals. It won't be the first time they've seen someone with his condition. They'll be able to help much more than we can...
If I were in your shoes, I would seek medical attention immediately. I'm no doctor but the fall-out from something like that would scare the crap out of me. Good luck. I hope you get your old buddy back.
I actually have a few schizophrenic friends (even dated a kid with it), and at most times if you didnt know, you wouldn't guess that they where. Most types of schizophrenia don't apear till the 20's and they can be triggered by a drug experience. Its sounds as if he may be schizophrenic and the tabs brought it out finally. It probably wasn't the acid that made him schizophrenic (unless he had far more then two tabs worth) but it was in his genetics and the acid brought out his first eppisode. I would get him some help and soon. Schizophrenia can be a very scary experience for the person and they can do serious harm to them selves and others if they don't have help and friends and fammily to look out for them. If his parents are cool I would contact them first, and not confront him directly with the problem as it may make his episode worse, but deffinatly find him some help somehow. But with proper meds and a good Dr your friend will be back to almost normal again. Keep us updated on if he's ok

I'd recommend telling him to purchase 5-HTP. It's basically a legal anti-depressant. Also really helpful after acid trips. Can be purchased at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc.
get him to talk to you. there might be a perfectly reasonable explanation for what he said on the phone, or at least understandable. i kinda wanted to stay out of the sun all weekend too b/c of the dust and heat. Maybe he thinks undercover cops stole everything from him that night, and I've definitely had stranger thoughts than that on gel. since it was his first time, he'll probably need someone to talk him back to this reality, to explain the difference. the first time can be extremely jarring for anyone, esp. in an atypical setting such as Roo. get his side of the story. get him to talk it out.

LSD has been known to trigger latent mental ilness in individuals predisposed to have mental problems. Sounds like he's become a bit parinoid after and understandably strange and traumatic experience. It's hard to say if its bad drugs or bad brains, but the ude could probably use a little therapy.

1) take this guy to see a professional immediantly. 2) a security guy told me Sat that there were some bad gel tabs going around. apparently it was not an isolated problem.
certain people shouldnt be doing druqs like that. check out www.shroomery.com post in the forums on there people will give u better answers.
but yeah, its rare, but some people will snap after doing mind altering substances like that. its not that the tabs were bad, or that he just had a bad trip, but substances like that can trigger underlying psychological conditions. not cause them, but bring them to the forefront. especially if your friend is in his early 20s - 30s cause thats when alot of those conditions manifest themselves in people.
