I feel kind of out of place making this design because I didn't know matt and never talked to him on inforoo. But it looks like a lot of people would probably like to have a shirt or button made remembering him. So i put this one together. (I also know that sanuks don't have strings, but if you're wearing the shirt you probably get the idea.)
I don't think that cafepress generates much money, but if it does and people like this shirt, maybe proceeds can go to Matt's trees.
I'm also open to any criticism or suggestions from those who actually knew him.
there we go. or heck, green could work since orange looks like fall time. If there could be a bandana or armband with this that we can wear throughout the fest, that'd be cool.

Maybe you should feel out of place for stealing V.V.'s idea? As far as I know, Vector knew Matt, but I think that's beside the point. I wouldn't buy a lineup shirt either. Not because my name isn't on it, but because inforoo isn't an exclusive group. It's totally open to everyone and the lineup shirt communicates otherwise.
That shirt design is fantastic! I would definitely wear one, depending on the colors. +1 CoCo to you, not just for making an awesome design, but also for doing something like this for someone you didn't even know.
I really like the idea of having the designs available for any of Cafe Press's products. I know there are pages that do that - you just select the design and then the shirt/bag/sticker/whatever.

This! I don't think he was being rude, just making his opinion known. Just cause someone is blunt and to the point, doesn't mean they're an ass-hat! We can talk about who was rude, edit was not so nice in pm-ing about this....pretty vulgar actually...and he knew it seeing as he has 'left the building' now. Either way, it's awesome to see all of these ideas...I haven't been on here much due to business. It's really sweet how we have such a selection! I'm stoked! ;D
I'm happy that we have lots of options, too, but I'm unsure as to where we go from here since edit has deleted his account....
I personally liked edit's lineup design the best of what we have so far, but since he's no longer a member, I'm not sure if we have permission to use his design. Baconus66 and myself had been working on a list of names to put on the shirt, and without edit's help, I'm not sure if we can?

Well, there was no real reason for him to leave...other than he KNEW what he messaged to a certain person...and it was totally out of line and uncalled for. Anyway - I guess that's up to him. He was really the only rude one in this situation. Anyway - someone can make something similar I suppose....it's not like edit was worried too much about adapting other people's designs, so you could do the same with his. It's really not a huge deal.

Agreed, it was a great shirt. If people have a problem get a mod or someone involved instead of starting a pm flame war, or whatever the fuck just happened here. Nobody is making money off of this, and the prizes are not worth people fighting over.
I guess this is up to the mods to decide. I personally don't think we should use edit's design or modify it in anyway without his permission. Mostly out of respect, since he took the time to make it. But that's just my opinion and may not mean anything to others.

It isn't just your opinion, it's covered under intellectual property and US copyright law section 1301 a1. That idea belongs to him.
I wouldnt pick hot pink for both guys and girls to wear, but I like it!
