I thought Jagger stole the show....some cool things people might not know: 1. The cape he was wearing at the start was given to him by Solomon Burke (you can see that happen and hear Mick talk about it somewhere on the Four Flicks DVD set) 2. Aside the obvious fact that it was a Solomon Burke song, the song he performed was also the first track on the Stones second album....which was released 46 years ago to the day.
I've liked AF's albums but have not been impressed with the live shows I've seen on TV. Hoping that seeing them in person will change that.
check out their Glastonbury performance.. it is great
Thanks for the tip. Checked it out on YouTube and a definite improvement. I love their instrumentation and rhythms but it seems like with every TV perfromance the vocals don't come out. I hope the sound engineers at 'Roo can bring it out on What.

Makes me glad there's still 80k people every year willing to go see some good music at the farm. It seems this vote upset people who are used to seeing people like Bieber win the award.
Makes me glad there's still 80k people every year willing to go see some good music at the farm rather than accept what the Grammy's tell you is good music.
I don't get which side you're on?
Are you for or against Arcade Fire being at Roo? At first it seems like you're for Arcade Fire being there but then it seems like you disagree with what Grammy's think are good music (which would be Arcade Fire since they won the biggest award).

Here's a whole show from Madison Square Garden.
Thank you so MUCH!! I was so disappointed by their performance last night this has been a godsend!!!

O.o
I really should have re-read that reply. I'm 100% for AF this year.

lol yea it was just worded a little weird. that confused me. Seems like you're saying the Grammy's don't know good music even though they just gave Arcade Fire and Black Keys some grammys.
