Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
So who all decided to get stained Red, Green, Blue, Yellow or a combo of all? Friday we came across the painters at Centeroo and felt it must be done.. myself I was painted a fine bright red that had people very concerned through out the day that i was severely sunburned. It was quite liberating to get painted from head to toe.. when asked why did you do that.. well because I can, im at the roo! You cant exactly paint yourself a solid color back home without the police tieing you up and shipping you off to a padded room. I think I will go multi colored next year.
It did look like fun and totally a Bonnaroo experience but I didn't partake. Sunday, my husband went off to see one show while I went to see another. We joined up at White Stripes and during the time apart he seemed to get some painting done on his forearms and all over his legs. Here's a pic, but it wasn't a full experience...

I'm curious to know if that stuff came off? Did it completely stain your skin? A coworker of mine had a family member go and said hers didn't wash off. I, myself, didn't get colored because I didn't see where they were doing it.

alieblue will be able to respond better since she's married to Karl, but I know that the next day, he had completely washed off the red. His blue arm was still pretty blue in spots, though

We had to use a nail brush to get off the blue and it still left spots in the elbows, cuticles and heels. After three showers and scrubbing, it is all gone.
I stopped by the painting area once and took some great shots. I wonder what the most popular color was. Yay. The blue folks must have looked like smurfs or members of Blue Man Group. ;D

I saw the "painted ones" and thought what a dumb idea... I was on drugs then and had that mind set and now I am sober and it seems even dumber! With it that hot I don't want any extra stickiness to bother me but that is just my opinion.

i think the dye was just food coloring & water. my skin breathed just fine through it; any "stickiness" was thanks to sunscreen and sweat. the color came right off once i had the help of indoor plumbing & running water.
after a full day of hearing "oh dude your so burned" I was over it so tried to wash it off but turned a fine shade of pink.. frantic i scrubbed away at it but with no luck... not sure why i tried this but i sprayed some off on my skin and it took it right off no prob...
I thought about getting painted blue on Saturday, but I was reminded that we needed to be as low key as possible for the ride home. I decided that the blue guys in jail are probably the first to be violated.
