Two predictions: Buffalo Springfield will play after Black Keys on the What. I am comfortable dismissing Insider's allusion to BK being a 'pre-headliner' as Springfield was probably the act nailed down very close to the lineup announcement, after Insider's post about headliners.
Then why wouldn't they have put Buffalo Springfield above The Black Keys lineup? If it was originally TBK -> Eminem and then Capps landed BS last-minute and decided to put them in between, then why would they have kept The Black Keys higher on the lineup?
That's the main thing that indicates to me that insider was/is right.

You could very well be right. That's why I noted it was just my own prediction rather than pretend that I am In The Know.
And, no, I'm not referring to Insider with the 'pretend to be in the know' bit.

sangreal you really think theyre gonna have two official "late nights" on thursday? im not seeing it, especially considering The Black Angels have played roo before. i think theyre gonna keep Thursday as the up and comers/ roo-kies night

What do you guys think the chances are Beirut plays a stage early/mid afternoonish on Sunday? Most people have them in the evening in a tent, but I think they'd actually go well out on a stage in the unbearable sun. Just seems like it fits for some reason.
It's entirely possible that The Strokes, EiTS, Beirut, Plant, The Superjam and Iron & Wine all overlap in some way shape or form. Mother of God.
Not sure if Arcade Fire or Eminem will play 11-1am, wasn't that the Jay Z slot last year and he was tabbed as "Late Night"
If My Morning Jacket is playing from 8:00 - 10:00, then Arcade Fire has to play 11:00 - 1:00. They always leave an hour in between acts on the What Stage.

Considering the two official stages of Bonnaroo hold ~40k and ~80k i just dont see Beirut playing outside of a tent

This was probably discussed in another thread, but Shpongle has gigs in FL 6/10 and 6/11. Are we assuming they're playing "late night" on Thursday? If so, are they changing the schedule to go later or are they dubbing the last act(s) as "late night" because they go past midnight? Are all three tent headliners on that list of 14? Maybe Scissor Sisters and Black Angels? Does that mean only 11 acts for Fri/Sat?

Where did the information that Shpongletron had cancelled their Friday night Florida show come from? If that's the case it's bad news for conflicts but good news for a more refreshing Friday morning.
I was actually pumped for Shpongle on thursday. I was definitely going to see him because the show looks insane, but he'll be the first to go out the window if theres a conflict.
Hey Airline, how close was your mock to the actual schedule last year? Just curious.
I was very close last year. Got the Weezer-Dead Weather placement right on. Only two misses I can think of were Jeff Beck (I had him on the mainstage with Jay Z, Stevie, Dead Weather and Jimmy Cliff) and Norah Jones (I had her headlining a tent).

Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
Praying for that !!!/Superjam/EITS conflict to be wrong. Like, literally praying. !!! has been my most anticipated band, but Superjam with Dan and Dr. John is literally un-missable

Word is Shpongle recently canceled their Friday gig in Florida. They could well be playing Bonnaroo Friday night. This would also probably mean Black Angels play a shorter set, because I think if anyone's set gets shrunk, it's then.
That said, it's a long way from Tennessee to Florida so I don't think this necessarily means Shpongle plays Friday, but it seems much, much more likely now.
Here would be my schedule in both Airline and Alberto's mocks:

As far as what I want to see, I like Alberto's slightly more EXCEPT for Friday night. If we could get Buffalo Springfield>Black Keys>Eminem on the What from 4:30-12 on Saturday night, that'd be perfect. Plus, I really want to catch The Black Angels' late night.
That said, somehow Airline's mock seems slightly more realistic. We'll see.

Why does everyone have Lil Wayne's set scheduled for friday night? Wouldn't it make more sense if he followed Eminem? First time poster here, so be gentle.
I like your schedule a lot, Airline. Considering their lineup placement, any chance you think we could see Deer Tick on Thursday rather than Saturday? That would be preferable to me for purely selfish reasons.
Deer Tick's site has them scheduled for thursday, but I don't know if they simply posted the first day of the festival and not the actual day they are playing.

i put them them there because it looked like sphongle was on thur. i couldn't make any sense of black angels playing late night paired with anyone else, so i put them on thur. too.
This Leno is hard. I see this going many different ways. here is a start to one. I will try to finish later. It might change ten times though before i get done.lol. I start thinking about one possiblility and end up changing it five times.lol.
