So I had already been thinking about doing an image mock for a while, and then when cedwards posted his I decided to make one and I just finished my rough draft. Obviously we have quite a few additions coming so theres a few blank spots, also I have both Black Star and Galactic in here as they are 2 adds I am pretty confident in. Other than that every band corresponds to confirmed days playing except for a few bands listed for Thursday that are probably too established to play on Thursday. Anyway,

Nice work, but according to at least a couple different artists (Walkmen, Explosions) they're playing on different days than you have listed. Also, a Beirut-Deerhunter-Black Keys conflict would suck big time.

Well we've got the Walkmen listed as Thursday but I dont think theyll play there. A lot of bands list themselves playing Thursday because its the first day of the fest even though they're playing later in the weekend. Also, Thursday is generally reserved for Bonnaroo rookies who are on the rise with only a few albums. The Walkmen have been around for a decade and have released 6 albums.
And I just noticed EiTS in the sky too. I still dont buy that theyre playing Sunday. Im thinking that "Sunday" means late night Saturday, so Ill have to move them over later

quack your image mock, it still stretches the goddang page. Use text because it won't stretch the page for anyone and because it works fine and dandy without messing up the page for anyone.
That said, there won't be an hour where nothing's going on. Buffalo Springfield isn't a headliner. If they were they'd be somewhere above fifth on the lineup. As things are they will not spend much (to say nothing of most) of their set unopposed. The late night tents will start playing around the time Eminem finishes his set, not an hour and a half after he's done.
Oh, and if you don't buy the fact that EitS is playing Sunday, it's time to stop buying the fact that Robyn is playing Sunday also, unless Sunday means late Saturday night. Because one of those acts is fun to dance to, and won't be fun at all if it's 90 degrees out. One of those acts can be 'experiential', which is all right at either time but if Animal Collective (an act that's straight psychedelic, not just instrumental post-rock) doesn't have a late night please don't count on EitS having a late night. As much as it'd be nice.
Overall looks really good - I like Decemberists>>Arcade Fire>>>MMJ. That could work nicely. My only issues are I don't think Buffalo Springfield will play late-nite...and WSP will certainly play longer than 2 hrs

^Nice sleuthing...so from this, we can deduce that the What Stage on Friday is going to be G. Love (1:30-3)>Alison Krauss (4-5:30)>Robert Plant (6:30-8)>Widespread Panic (9-11:30)
Alison Krauss is the only one not confirmed, but I just think her into Robert Plant makes too much sense for Bonnaroo not to do it. Also, G. Love, Black Star, and Galactic probably just about does it for our bigger additions.

Also, Alberto, your image mock LOOKS great, but the schedule is all off IMO. I'm pretty sure The Walkmen are playing Thursday, they said specifically that they're playing Thursday and have it listed everywhere; they even have the time (10 PM) on their Facebook page supposedly.
Several of the conflicts you have listed would REALLY suck for me: Wavves vs. Dam-Funk, The Black Angels vs. Phosphorescent, MMJ vs. !!! and EITS, The Walkmen vs. Black Star (I might cry about not being able to see The Walkmen yet again), and The Black Keys vs. Deerhunter vs. Beirut vs. Dr John (Jesus Christ, hello conflict from hell). Likie I said, it LOOKS really good, so I'd like to see a better schedule on that exact draft.
And, like it or not, I really think EITS are playing Sunday. It sucks, but it's better that we accept it now and move on. There's a very slim chance that Sunday=a late night on Saturday. If it happens, then we can be pleasantly surprised. But I think it's infinitely more likely that they're either opening for The Strokes or (God forbid) closing a tent and conflicting with The Strokes.

How did you make this? I wanna do something like this.
That said, there won't be an hour where nothing's going on. Buffalo Springfield isn't a headliner. If they were they'd be somewhere above fifth on the lineup.
Youre right, Buffalo Springfield isnt a headliner. Thats why I dont have them playing as one... and if Bonnaroo wouldnt schedule an hour block where nothing is going on, what happened between 10:30 and 11:30 PM on Saturday last year?
Also the EiTS / Robyn situtation you so angrily brought up is a lot different considering Robyn has tour dates scheduled for every day other than Sunday, so its 100% shes playing Sunday. One can still hold out hope for EiTS late night on Saturday (and correct me if Im wrong, but I believe it has happened before where bands playing late nights have scheduled themselves as playing the next day, am I wrong?). OH and FWIW, when I added G. Love in on Sunday Robyn got bumped to tent closer at 7:00pm, so that should make it a little easier to dance to.
And I made the mock in MS Paint, not hard at all. Mostly just a bunch of copy and pasting. Only took a couple of hours. And yeah karosko, it was tough making a lot of those conflicts. Especially at the tent closer spot pre-HL. But thats how it is every year, and its gonna be even worse this year, thats the price we have to play for having this good of a lineup. Welcome to Bonnaroo. Also I find it funny that I take the time to schedule 90 bands and its "all off" because 1 or 2 arent on the days you think theyll play on. I put a lot of thought into this and I think the majority of it makes a lot more sense than what some people have been throwing around here. Oh well, cant please everyone I guess.

Don't let the haters get you down. That said, there are a cpl here and there I would change but nothing that's just absolutely crazy.
edit: yea there are a few crazy choices on here on second thought

I really like the lay out of Alberto's schedule for the most part but I really hope they don't put the Decemberists overlapping with Lil Wayne. I really want to see both of those sets.
Dam Funk & Master Blazer following Deer Tick following Band of Skulls
Ray LaMontange on the What Stage
Primus before Lil Wayne
Flecktones and Gregg Allman in a tent
Phosphorescent and JT Earle in the same tent as Matt & Kim and Scissor Sisters
Omar Souleyman, Kylesa and Man Man in the tent curated by Eugene Hutz of Gogol Bordello
Hayes Carll followed by Nicole Atkins followed by Jovanotti followed by Beirut
Chiddy Bang and Atmosphere following Junip
Ryan Bingham at 1:15
lol I see nothing wrong with almost all of these. You do know that not every tent is themed throughout the entire day, correct? In fact they try to mix it up a little bit so people dont just sit in the same tent all day. Last year there was a tent that went Julia Nunes > Jay Electronica > The Gossip. How about Dr. Dog > OK Go > Les Claypool, or Blues Traveler > They Might Be Giants > Medeski, Martin and Wood. None of these artists are even remotely similar. Usually only a couple of acts in the non-themed tents are similar in style.
Ray LaMontagne is billed 13th, why couldnt he be main stage? If ZBB can pre-headline main stage billed at 24th, Ray LaMontagne could certainly play mainstage as the 2nd act of the day.
Primus is billed lower than Lil Wayne.
Jeff Beck and Les Claypool were in tents last year. Gregg Allman and Bela Fleck certainly could be this year (Both are billed lower than Beck/Claypool last year).
I think Man Man is VERY likely for the Eugene Hutz tent. They appeal to a very similar demographic. Omar Souleyman makes sense too as it is a "Global" tent. Kyelsa may have been a bit of a stretch but I had nowhere else to put them on Friday, and they fit with the heavier style of the tent. All make far more sense than !!! like you have.
Ryan Bingham is in the bottom 15% of the lineup, why wouldnt he play at 1:15?
That said, there won't be an hour where nothing's going on. Buffalo Springfield isn't a headliner. If they were they'd be somewhere above fifth on the lineup.

Woah, Gus, I wasn't disrespecting all the thought you put into this. I was just saying there's a few changes I'd make to the schedule (Buffalo Springfield, EITS, The Walkmen, etc.). Like I said, the layout looks great.
Some of the stuff on your schedule I agree with you on, but a lot of it I don't. Don't take it personally, I just see the schedule shaking out a little differently than you do. I do agree with you that MMJ and SCI will be the main-stage LNs. However, Primus, for instance I see playing LCD's slot from last year as opposed to pre-headlining Which for Lil Wayne or Mumford & Sons. The Walkmen I think will close a tent Thursday, EITS I think is pre-headlining for The Strokes on Which, and Buffalo Springfield I think is opening for AF on Friday. Just my thoughts.
Sure. No prob. These are minor details but jumped out to me as innacurate.
1. The gogol tent won't have Kylesa in it.
2. All of the indie late nights are against My Morning Jacket. Most of the jammier late nights Saturday against SCI.
3. Grace Potter is playing the main stage friday. She played a bigger spot on Which the last time she played in 09. She won't get a worse spot than before.
4. Walkmen are thurs. according to everything out there (it can happen, blitzen trapper)
5. Not enough bands on thursday (likely a few will be additions, but additions are for the most part the other 3 days.)
Everything else I could say (JW tent, Primus ln tent) is purely opinion, however I feel fairly confident in the above. Good work.
