Hello, I notice this board is not very active but I was hoping someone could tell me how your kids did in the heat last year? I have a 7 year old daughter I may need to bring this year but my main and only worry (other then being able to see MMJ who may do LN) is how she will cope with the heat.
Obviously I will be over prepared if I bring her,(sunscreen, water fan thingy's water, gatorade, hat etc..) but do they offer anything for children like a mini water park station or anything?
Also about approx how many families are in the family section?
If she comes I want this to be a very positive experience for her. She absolutely loves music, mainly her parents music (Avett's, The National etc..) so I know she would enjoy the concerts too. I just want her to be comfortable and for me to remain sane
If she can keep herself hydrated it shouldn't be too bad. I actually had to take my wife out of there Friday afternoon because the heat was getting to her so badly, but she has issues staying hydrated.
Lots of water, shade and sunscreen should be fine. There is the giant water mushroom in the middle of Centeroo and potable water stations all over. Nothing that I've seen geared specifically for kids.

I took my 9yo daughter to our 1st roo last year! She did amazing & had a wonderful time! Lots of water is a must!! We froze a few cases of bottled water & put in cooler & ended up still having cold water on last day. For every 2 bottles of water she had, she then drank a small bottle of gatorade. No problems w/ dehydration... Family camping was very spacious & we made some lifelong friends!!
