yes, although they may get mad if you roll up with 20 cases of beer (they don't want people selling it in the campgrounds). I think the limit is like six cases or something. they will check your coolers for glass, so if you must bring it in, conceal it
$250 covers ticket and camping, yes
your plot size depends on how the people around you park, I will say that I've been the past three years and always had room to set up two tents and some chairs comfortably. Don't hesitate to ask someone to move up a few feet if need be. You also have the option of parking your car and carrying your stuff to the tents-only campground, which is right next to the entrance to centeroo (the area with all the stages)
location can be somewhat of a crapshoot -- look for a large thread to develop on it in the coming weeks. be aware that if you arrive on wednesday night, they will put you in BFE
you will definitely be parked together IF you go in together at the same time. Just go through the same check in line, and tell the people directing traffic that you're together
Agree. Dont be obvious with anything questionable. Do your best to avoid bringing glass. Thursday before the big crowds show up - noonish - is a good time to aim for. We do the trip from RI. If you push through, there are some nice litttle Mom/Pop campgrounds about an hour out. We get to our favorite camp ground late wed night after a straight thru drive and catch some decent zz's. Quick stop at the super walmart for fresh food/ice etc. Then into roo. Keep in mind that most of the staff are volunteers. If you are respectful, you can usually Jedi mind trick yourself into a good setup. Have heard the same - don't get there wed night or you'll end up in East BF. GO boston go... our group ranges from 19 to 58, all easy going, and we all have a blast and can not wait for roo 2011!
