Anyone else going to see this Roo vet band at Terminal 5? Great venue, pretty cheap, awesome tunes. Saw them for the first to at Roo '10 then later that summer at Life Is Good.

I was going to go but I need to save some money for the Roo ticket. Dr. Dog just announced that Jeffrey Lewis will be opening for them instead of phantogram and that'll be a sweet show. decent replacement.

missed a hell of a show. met the dr. dog drummer (eric) and new multi-instrumentalist/percussionist dmitri (spelling?) who does some of their art. they said they're crossing their fingers for a free summerstage show and that they're working on demos for a new album coming out next winter.
Head and the heart are awesome and playing Sunday at Roo, according to Josiah.
Jeffrey Lewis was "interesting," did some history-based songs with slideshows of original art about marco polo and the french revolution
also, ITM, thanks for having portugal. the man on your banner for so long. I finally listened to them for the first time and they rock. I'll give you credit for inadvertently (and subliminally) recommending them to me.
