How many kids this year will be coming to the farm just because they heard its a place to party for a weekend and not get in trouble?!
that seems to be the norm with all fests now. kids going just to party. look at what happened at Electric Daisy. We had concerts at a small campground in iowa get shut down because all the highschool kids heard you could do illegal things there and no one cared. Well now the land owner is in federal prison.
just wondering how many kids come for this reason. im sure this year its going to be very very high..
there will be some and there will be others like my soon to be 18 year old who will be there with me
and then there are still others like willsfc that are at a festival for the music and nothing else and know how to have a great time without all the "partying"

I really feel like anything they want to do, they can do in high school anyway. Everything is available, so why pay all that money for a ticket just to party? Maybe there are some but to be quite honest I don't feel like I see a huge amount of teenagers doing that. I see plenty of 20 something guy doing that though
My daughter has been going to Roo since she was 14 (with me) and the last 2 years she was pretty much on her own with her friends and I didn't really check on her much. I think that she mostly goes for the music and the community and the partying is really secondary for her. I have raised her with a very open mind and I think she makes pretty good decisions, because she has not been sheltered.
um yeah, pretty sure there is no way in hell my mom would have let me go to bonnaroo unchaperoned as a minor. she didn't even like it when i went the first time and i was 23!

And the problem is? The parents. If they are a "kid" as you say, then it's a parental issue. If they are young adults, well, it's part of their learning to take responsibility for themselves. And we are not going to legislate or otherwise manage the process of maturity.
So I'll only get in a kid's face if it's puking on my shoes.

I don't understand your concern, unless you're just trolling. If you are trolling, then I put you on the 4chan level of expertise.
Honestly, you're 24 man. You're a kid too, so I wouldn't pass much judgement.
I try to bring a lot of my friends to Bonnaroo every year, and my biggest selling point is the partying to some of them. I don't think theres anything wrong with it, the atmosphere and wandering around the campgrounds is half the fun for me.
DMB brought all the frat boys, Metallica brought all the metal heads, and now Eminem and Lil Wayne are bringing the high school kids. Blame whoever you want for this hypothetical problem, but I think you should start by looking in the mirror.
