Soooo, yah anyone from the Buffalo/Rochester NY surrounding areas driving down to TN? As of right now, none of my friends want to go, and I honestly don't want to hitchhike and go alone.
It would be awesome to meet some fellow 'Roo goers, this will also be my 1st time going.
me and some friends, not sure how many are goin this year, are leavin from buffalo wed afternoon. this will be my 6th time going, when i kno more details of how many people are going and if we have an extra spot ill let u know

Hey my name is Henry from New York City and my friends are form the South and the bus is 172 dollars both ways, what do u have in mind for getting to Roo? I am journeying alone at the moment but am up for splitting costs.
Honestly I have no idea, a friend showed interest in going but I doubt she will. I was hoping to catch a ride with anyone going from around here, split gas and whatnot.

my car is full at the moment unfortunately that is what you get for having a small vehicle, less carpooling potential, bah!

it's actually mine and my gf's first 'roo! everyone on here is so helpful and kind, it is really a life-saver as far as preparation. i like to spread good karma and lend a hand when i can... so i am bummed we don't have more room :/

I'm sure with all the hype this thing is getting there will be more people from around our area. If it wasn't for having to get not only 3 people in my car but all their crap too, I would have the room. But four days of crap piles up. But also ur right down there by the boarder, where pretty much everyone above u has to go by. So I think someone will eventually have a spot ro spare.

got a q? im now going to phish the night before roo, it will put me at a 12/13hr drive leaving @11pm the 8th.. so my q? iam i going to be coming into a sh*t storm at that time?(11/noon) or is everything moving smothly by then.
If you're going to the phish show at darien lake, plan on getting out of there well past 11 and probably closer to midnight or later. When they played there a couple of summers ago the parking lot was backed up until at least 1 AM. That's when we finally decided to try to leave and still had to wait in line to get out a bit.

If you want to get out of that parking lot earlier, park in one of the peoples houses lawns on the way in. Usually they charge 5 bucks and it never gets as congested as the other lot.

Yah I used to work there, and live right around the corner. It takes FOREVER to get out of that damn parking lot. Maybe plan a nap while waiting hah.

Yeah I said f it..I'm selling my tic. It's not worth it. Iv seen enough shows at darien, and I'm gonna need all my energy. it would have me coming Into Tenn at a busy time..now back on my original plan, Il be in Tenn by 9-10 wens night. Plus what's a darien lake show compared to roo.
the darien lake laser show is the suckiest thing ive ever seen (the one they do every night). synthesia, if you dont end up finding anyone, get ahold of me. so far im driving down solo. i plan on leaving early wednesday morning though so i can get there and party at walmart haha. and after roo is over im going to drive down to georgia and stay at a friends for the night and get some rest, and i doubt they would mind if you came too. if you wouldnt mind either of these, then youre welcome to come!
