I think Electric Forest will have a very healthy dose of EDM; I've heard as much from someone close to last year's North Coast Music Festival, which had a ton of it. The nice thing about choosing Electric Forest as an alternative is: A. It likely won't be hot as Hades up there. At least it wasn't at the first Rothbury I attended. B. The forest will be amazingly decked out, and the venue, as a whole, is awesome.
true! those 2 things alone make me very tempted to go, even with an 11 hour+ drive from the DC area. But anyway... I suppose we should keep the Rothbury details to a minimum since it has it's own threads. In summation, check out Electric Forest when the details go up on the 28th, then see if that's a remote possibility, even with the long distance. I know it could be tough to do several years in a row, but I'd say it's good to experience at least once.
