I would like to bring my blow up pool to the party outside our RV. Has anyone seen these filled by the fresh water RV servicing company? I'm not afraid of bringing it and filling it but concerned about people messing with it while we are away (or "dropping" some sort of liquid in it be it legal or non) Would love some input. Thanks!
People have brought pool before and they usually turn to filth pretty quickly. People will "borrow" them to wash their feet and such and the water get very warm very quickly. Also I doubt very seriously that RV service would fill it. Most I've heard have to haul buckets from the nearest water station (PITA)

Holy moly that's a lot of water for a 10 foot pool! yeah, it's about 10 foot by 3 feet deep (it blows up quite easily) I was hoping to be close enough to a water hose if I'm lucky that we could stealthily fill it for some early hot day lounging. I probably wouldn't keep it full without someone in my party there.
I'm pretty stubborn so maybe I will downsize the pool. I'm determined to have something to sit in. I wonder if there are any self sufficient sprinkler type things that would just run on their own water like a self circulating fountain. Gotta look that up.... thanks guys!

So if you are not going to keep it full then you are not there, where are you going to drain the water?
If you've never been there then I understand the lack of knowledge. But even if you are in the RV area your neighbors are going to be close by. Chances are it's going to rain one of the days so the ground won't be completely dry. All filling and emptying a pool will do is flood your neighbors "yard".
Also there aren't any hoses on the site. There are these truck things that have troughs and the troughs have faucets. I guess you could bring your own hose but most likely you'll be more than 200 feet from your POD.
I would really have to just say forget the pool. Walk to your POD, dump some cold water on your head and return to your RV.

Somebody had one near us a couple of years ago and I still don't know how they worked it out. BTW unless you're refilling it the heat evaporated quite a bit of the water by Monday morning.
We camped sorta near someone with a baby pool. That thing was so disgusting by Friday morning. Seriously, it's so dusty and muddy and grody there, you won't want to soak in your filth. Also it won't be cool because the sun will bring that to a nice toasty temperature pretty darn quick.
been there done it it sucks. i was napping and caught someone just straight up bathing in it..great idea but gets gross in 2.5 seconds and even if u dump it and refill think of your fellow campers downstream

Even a 6 foot pool filled to 6 inches of water holds 100 gallons. Really you'd better off with a portable camping shower (which I've seen plenty of) to keep cool. That 6 inches of water will be dirty and 95 degrees in an hour. You can douse yourself with a gallon of water 100 times instead and stay alot cooler.
To the contrary, me & my crew have had a baby pool (smallest available) for the last few years and now find it essential. We periodically dump it (in a harmless space) and refill it with cooler water or from the water station. Kept in the shade amidst the chairs, it is a most welcome luxury on a break from the heat to place one's feet in and open an ice-cold brew.

I totally read that wrong, but it does bring up a new way to "christen" the baby pools.
Last year, I headed to Splash-a-Roo right when it opened and sat in their baby pools while they filled them up with cold fresh water. I hope they bring back the water park this year. It made my mornings easier to get rid of the funk left on me from the night before.

bring some gallon jugs of water and hoist it up and just shower under it or bring a solar shower. much cleaner and easier. one year they had some pool insides of roo and they were FILTHY think about it

The fact that you were bathing in them all morning was the reason I never used them the rest of the weekend.
