I'll be going to my 3rd this year!! ...and I plan to continue to go to this festival for many many years to come. They do an unbelievably good job in every respect and the crowd and atmosphere is absolutely perfect.
I'm staying in a condo in town. But as far as camping goes, the majority of the people that camp are in the offsite campgrounds. Camping in Town Park sells out every year via a lottery in October/November. I think the shuttles work very well, just pack a bag and plan on staying all day. There is only one stage so you can just post up in one place for the whole day.
Be prepared for all kinds of weather. Once the sun goes down it gets cold fast and you'll want a jacket for the last couple of acts each day.
